Do you know how many time I have explained this here on Facepunch? I got tired of it, every time there is a thread about Syria, I need to explain the same shit all over again. It always ends up with you guys not believing me just because I am from Syria. You guys always end up saying that I am just a blind Assad follower. In fact in a previous thread there was another person from Syria who agreed with me, and people still didn't believe me. We are literally the only people on Facepunch from Syria, and we were both called blind Assad followers. So I hope now you see why I don't want to get in this discussion anymore. You can go to my previous 100s of posts about Syria and see what I am talking about. But like I said in the previous thread, I am not longer going to waste time explaining another person what's actually going on.
I have had constructive arguments about Syria here before, but it always ended up with the same results. But like I said in the previous thread, I am not longer going to type a whole page explaining it, just go to my previous posts.
Don't antagonize me for something I didn't do.
I will however say that, after reading your other posts like you told, you believe the US started the war as they are money and power hungry and that Assad was helping rebuild the country but you refuse to acknowledge any other argument that says otherwise because we Westerners are just "sitting our asses all day reading news on the internet" and most importantly because "you're from Syria and I know the real truth". So you just straight up deny anything that's conflicting to you, not because you are tired of discussing it but because you are in the belief that you are right and everyone who says you're not is a lazy westerner being fed propaganda.

Then can you please give me one reason why someone from Syria should believe you guys instead of what they have seen with their own eyes? I really want to know what makes you guys think you know better, but just like other threads no one is going to answer that question.
I also read other people's posts and they DID answer you and you accused them of being lazy westerners who read too much western propaganda like you are trying to accuse me of the same. You also talked about terrorists, Libya and Yemen and refused to addressed those when I mentioned Syria as a civil war and just focused on that specific point.
YOU'RE the one who hasn't responded as to why it's Obama/the US/the West that started the wars.
Also I find it a bit weird to deny that it's a civil war when most of IS' soldiers in Syria are Syrians. Is it because there is little local support (beyond the fighters) that you denounce that term?

Like I said I have already explained the part about Obama. As for Yemen and Libya, those ones you are right. I didn't talk about them to much even in my previous posts, but that's because I focus on Syria. Plus they are basically the same situation, just different country, except Yemen. Yemen is a bit different then what is going on in Syria and Libya.

Oh so now ISIS is made up of Syrians, wtf is going on with your media? ISIS are mostly made up of foreigners, they aren't Syrian.

Blatant misinformation and ignorance. Why do you think ISIS is in Syria right now? Because they're trying to worm their way in between Assad's regime and the Syrian rebels. Why do you think there's so many foreign terrorist groups there? Because they want to push their influence during a time of civil war. There's a power vacuum in Syria, which is the exact same instance that happened to Iraq.
If you think Syria's problems are the fault of Obama then you really don't understand what's happening, do you?
wtf is going on with your media?
why do you bother with this "my media vs your media" talk?
if we simplify things a bit (a lot), it essentially boils down to "twisted facts vs twisted facts" so there's no point. the only way to get anything close to a perfectly objective look at what's going on is to go there and see for yourself.
why the fuck does everything always have to be "east vs west", "me against you", "us vs them"?

Except that I have been there, I am from there. So is the other Syrian guy that posted on the other thread, no body believes me or the other guy. That's the problem, we are the only two people who are from Syria and have seen the war, yet we are viewed as blind Assad followers. For some reason sitting in your home 1000s of miles away from the war and looking at bullshit news like CNN is more credible than people who actually came from the war. So now you see the problem? It just doesn't make sense to me why they believe western news over people who are from Syria. Like what the actual fuck.

Just because you were there doesn't mean you know the most about the situation.
I'm not going to comment on anyone's opinions in this thread and I'm not going to take a stance here but being from a place or involved in what's happening there doesn't mean you know anything about the conflict past the stuff someone on the ground would have to know. Them being further away doesn't mean they won't learn less. Constantly being hostile and taking contrary opinions to everyone doesn't make you seem more knowledgeable about it.

You being there doesn't mean you're the absolute authority on what's news, so stop it with this "derp but western media though".
And thank you for assuming everyone here gets their news from CNN. We totally do. You got us pegged, man.

Having been there means jackshit and doesn't make your opinion any more credible.
Seeing destruction and people die doesn't mean you understand the situation any better.

We're in the age of information, friend. You are no longer required to actually witness something to know about it extensively. Moreover, being there can even make your account of the situation less accurate as you may have emotional involvement, which seems visible by your use of language.
I'm not saying you're right or wrong, but you can't just discredit somebody else's argument with the rebuttal "You weren't there." in this day and age.
Now analyzing and determining the validity, accuracy, and credibility of sources/news agencies is a different issue.
