Can anyone on here confirm whether Fox News has a huge rallying cry right now for the UK to allow guns on a broad scale? Just a rumour I've heard, but if it's true I've it to ask: how would it have made any difference in this scenario? The soldier was apparently jumped unexpectedly, and 'the right guy with the gun' came and dealt with the two attackers.

Our country is in a sorry state when our Armed Forces are warned not to where their uniforms in public in fears of safety.

I think us Brits will go about our lives the same as before, apart from the usual minority of course - just like when the London bombings occurred, the next day people still caught the same service to work even when the bus running yesterday was blown up. I for one will still be wearing my Help for Heroes t-shirt.

I would hope everyone around is okay. Some people don't take well to seeing dead people, and I would imagine that they might've taken some psychological trauma from witnessing an event so brutal. I know I would've. On the other hand, this is probably an example again of extremists. Just because they're Muslims does not mean you should group them with the rest of the Muslim population.

News agencies really need to stop posting the clip and image of the guy with blood on his hands. Extra publicity is not what that guy needs.
