Horrible parenting story of the day: Mom charged after son's body found in oven

"Johnson said the child's body was still warm when it was removed from the oven."
Kid got sooooooooooo baked :2bong:
I'll toast to this.
No lady, your son was not a chicken.
You know before blaming the mother completely, kids do really stupid things - especially at that age.
It is likely he crawled into the oven after pressing buttons on it or something, then the door closed on him and it began heating up. He got head trauma after hitting his head on the roof of the oven or door trying to get out and screaming, overall panicking.
Although the mother would be to blame for not watching her son.

I'm pretty sure if a kid somehow, in all stupidity, managed to lock him/herself in an oven, I would like to think they would start crying for help when it, oh, I don't know, started to COOK THEM?
An autopsy on a 3 year old boy...
:smith:
Autopsies are also performed on fetuses and stillborn babies, isn't really a horrible thing.
New level of fucked up

Your avatar is so arousing, but your post is so disgusting.

So you wouldn't mind giving an autopsy to a small child who was either burnt/beaten to death?
Sure it's a little more understandable of a child who died of health problems, but this would be quite depressing.
I have a lot of respect for people that do autopsies.. I really do, they must have nerves of steel.
Like, I can't even look at blood (that isn't my own) without getting sick.. But they have to look at so many deaths- some of which are little kids. Something like that would seriously fuck up my life forever- mentally.
maybe she was hungry
OP updated, check for details. Looks like the kid was alive when he was put inside that oven. :smith:
Why are you fucks rating this funny?
I've no clue...
Man... What a happy looking toddler.
:smith:
Such is life in Mississippi.
Man that sucks. I feel bad for how the kid must have felt while he was still alive. I hope she gets some help as well

I think she's beyond repair... if you feel no pity or remorse after -literally- cooking your own son alive, there's something really wrong with you.
Why does this have funnies?

Wouldn't an oven door open if it were pushed on from the inside? I can't imagine it would be too difficult to get out of an oven.

I'm wondering how severe the head trauma is. I'm thinking that maybe the mother might have been hitting her son and had injured him to the point that she could face some pretty big charges if someone found out. Maybe she got scared and put him in the oven to hide what she had done, hoping she could get away with it if it could be ruled as an accident, like stupidass's theory (That's his username; I'm not being rude). But that couldn't have happened, and the police won't buy that.
There's no way a 3-year old is even tall enough to turn an oven on by himself, and even if he could, he wouldn't have the patience to just lay in there until it got hot. If the oven had already been on when he supposedly crawled in, there's absolutely no way he would have stayed there. His hand would've been burned the second he touched the inside of the oven and he would have backed off.
The woman is definitely guilty. I'd love to believe that this was an accident because it's just too fucking awful to believe that a mother would do this to her own son, but there's no way around the truth.
Also, stop with the jokes. It's fucking disgusting.
Burning a black baby is kinda redundant.
reminds me of that thread in General Discussion where a kid killed his mom because she took away his PS3 and he tried to stuff her in the oven after knocking her out
Link to thread?
There are so much funny ratings. HOW is this funny?

I'm pretty sure the funnies are directed more towards this:

then to the actual story.
That kid is really small, I highly doubt he'd have the strength to open an oven, turn it on, crawl in, and close it.
I take it this is a pretty rare incident
not really a well done job on the mother's part
One could say that cop was "heated" over this event.
