Then why is he vegetative,i would say paralyzed,since not able to move but able to think correctly.
This is one reason i support stem cell research. I can't even imagine being without stimuli for [i]twelve[/i] years. Hopefully things like this can be remedied in the future.

You know what's probably worse? Being put under for surgery, but you're still awake and conscious and not even numb, but can't do shit about it, and nobody else knows
I'm baffled that people can come out of this stuff with their sanity intact.
Vegetative state is permanent AFAIK
