This just makes me think of those old FMV games, but if it works then why not.
We use this Operation Flashpoint kinda thing, we use modified guns connected to sensors with some kind of gas insert so they judder when fired, it comes with the Mag, rifle and a Shraw. We just call it the Time Crisis machine.
