Hurry, more robots USA, labor costs are electric bills.
we work for the better of our nation!
China has been generous. We will live in prosperity.
Wait.. I figured China already had this title... Y'know, considering everything says "made in China."
How is this news I thought this was a long-established fact
I thought this happened a few years back.
What do we even majorly manufacture anymore? I thought most of our local products are actually shipped to places like Canada or Mexico to be made and then shipped back rather then manufacture them here.
Service economy ftw
Eh well, more pollution for them.
It's not surprising that they'll pull ahead, nor is it important. They eschew front-loaders for digging jobs because it is cheaper to hire people with shovels and wheelbarrows. The fact that this practice takes up so much of their people's effort while Americans have an incredible amount of free time obviously still places America as a higher power on the global scale.
if they win, we are no longer a super-nation....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_budget_of_the_United_States Not to mention the United States Navy is larger than the rest of the world combined... I personally believe that the United States could cut back its military spending by a significant amount and still remain the most powerful in the world, both economically and militarily.

And if the time comes, I bet their military spending would simply put, overwhelm the US spending in comparision
The EU is a country? I think no
The EU is a country? I think no
except what is the currency of the EU? that's okay i'll wait
except what is the currency of the EU? that's okay i'll wait
I don't care if they have the same currency. It says countries and it's not a country and I want to know what you plan to do about it.

What is he defining as "manufacturing leader"? China has been making all our cheap shit for 20 years, and, if we're strictly going off the criteria of how much stuff was produced, then yeah this has been the case for a while. Also what he's saying about pre-british industry is fucking retarded. "It was all China" my ass. I'm an American and I recognize that there was no such thing as industry before the British Empire. What he's talking about is a moot point because there was no manufacturing AKA finishing of goods anywhere in the world let alone China. Though they were very advanced at certain points, their progress was interrupted by some crazy periods of internal violence that set them back centuries. Anyway, I rated OP late because nothing in this article has anything to do with anything in the news.
They are producing the stuff they are told and paid to from the rest of the world. China is the worlds working bench. As soon as they start producing their own stuff I'd love to accept this bullshit fearmongering news.
