Jesus I go to Ocala all the time... Glad I carry my Glock everywhere I go
According to the news down here in Florida, it was about a girlfriend the guy was dating.
No source yet, so I could be wrong.

so do I, but don't get too worried. this wasn't a random attack. the ex-girlfriend of the victim was involved in the murder.

Of course, locking someone in a box truly makes up for slowly and painfully murdering someone, mutilating their corpse and disposing of what was left (thus denying a proper funeral and closure), and inflicting intense, life-long grief to an entire family. Not including friends and anyone else connected to the teen.
Stuffing them in a box like a little spoiled child who wouldn't know better. Seems so comparable.
your 13 year old lifetime might seem mundane, but take your lifetime times 7 and imagine that amount of time in a prison where you are not allowed to eat proper food, sleep well, see your family, have fun or even have a workout
imagine that happening to your best friend, would you allow that to happen to him, even if he did something horrible? wouldn't you want him to get better and become a hard working civilian again?
no? you sick fuck.
yeah if my friend shot someone and burnt their body they can fuck off and rot in jail

A 15 year old kid called his ex a slut accused her of doing meth, and wanted to fight her new boyfriend, so they murdered him for it. I bet they are all straight A students. /sarcasm

Yeah, plus states benefit from prisons. The inmates are counted as voters for the governor, so the governor benefits from laws that keeps the inmates longer in prison. And so everyone benefits.

The meals don't really taste that good and you can get killed at any time.
Other than that jail's not so bad

don't even start with this shit. you guys act like prison is a vacation. it's not.
yeah, they get three meals a day, but the food is absolutely disgusting and very limited in variety. I've seen the food myself, and it's the nastiest food I've ever seen. a starving cat wouldn't even that shit.
no taxes? what's your point? inmates still have to work just like regular people, and they get no pay at all. instead they get time off their sentence, but it's not that much considering how much they work.

Law is not based on revenge and emotions. For the most part atleast.

Ever hear the term 'justice is blind' jenkem? probably not.
This is what the world is like now?

Where did these statistics come from then? Because, according to the sources I've consulted, statistics show that a quarter of all people arrested for violent crimes have ASPD/psychopathy (http://www.fmhac.net/Assets/Documents/2011/Presentations/HoronRobertsHenderson.pdf page 4; note that this report is less than a month old).
And a majority of criminals are minorities, but that doesn't mean that a majority of minorities are criminals
Doesn't sound very outdated to me, the meaning is still the same. Sociopath might describe your ASPD when people aren't hurt, Psychopath when they are or something else entirely. It still implies they feel no remorse, are nearly unable to be rehabilitated and the distinction between the two is based on the criteria i mentioned previously.
No
The official stance of the American Psychiatric Association as presented in the DSM-IV-TR is that "psychopathy" and "sociopathy" are obsolete synonyms. The World Health Organization takes a similar stance in its ICD-10 by referring to psychopathy, antisocial personality, asocial personality, and amoral personality as synonyms for dissocial personality disorder.
DSM knows more than all of us in this thread combined
That's really fucked up. Just imagine the pain the boy's mother is going through right now because of them.

Today's world sucks. Gotta be prepared.
This is just another reason to keep capital punishment. All 6 of them deserve to die or, they should be forced to make and deliver a check for 1$ to the family of boy for 365 days.
This is just another reason to keep capital punishment.
no it's not. executing them will solve nothing.

I propose death or a $365 fine whichever is greater I'm too stupid to tell

have you made a 1$ check a day for a year to one residence? Its suppose to be a traumatic sentence: reminder of what you did, re-live all the events everyday for 1 year.

What you think they'll just forget about the fact they murdered someone if they're not writing cheques?

Life in prison is a better punishment than both of those, for sure.
I'm positive most people would rather die than spend life in prison.

Death penalty on teenagers? Seriously?
Death penalty on teenagers? Seriously?
These people are sick fucks. In my opinion they do not deserve to live.
I thought the whole point of life imprisonment was that the people who committed a really bad crime could be kept from doing any more? What's the point of killing them, since it pretty much just brings the same effect but starts off arguments?

Who the hell are you to decide who lives or not?
