It's a news thread in a news forum.
literally the only point to posting this was so that the same people who always post these threads or post in the firearms thread can stroke themselves, call people fascists, mass rate dumbs, then bolt by calling kopimi or sigma or whoever a douche or something like this is worse than the mlp shit we've had on this forum, and that's a high standard to reach
Pro-gun people need to stop being little babies and just accept that the president of the united states knows more about politics and gun control than they do.
Nothing like a nice appeal to authority.
Pro-gun people need to stop being little babies and just accept that the president of the united states knows more about politics and gun control than they do.
Oh wow that's probably the most hilarious thing I've read all day.
"OMG a swastika, I'm so concerned." Oh wait. Who honestly gives a single flying fuck. I have no problem if you want to call your town, state, or federal government nazis. It's called free speech. There are plenty of protests where swastikas where hauled out (notably during the Bush administration), but suddenly when gun owners do it their "crazies".
The problem is that you're comparing your government to a reigime that slaughtered millions of innocent people and started one of the largest wars the world has ever known. It's ignorant hyperbole and makes it seem like you don't know a thing about what you're talking about. This goes for both liberals and conservatives.
literally the only point to posting this was so that the same people who always post these threads or post in the firearms thread can stroke themselves, call people fascists, mass rate dumbs, then bolt by calling kopimi or sigma or whoever a douche or something
Wow that's a great generalization there.
Oh wow that's probably the most hilarious thing I've read all day.
I'm glad I could be of service.
Pro-gun people need to stop being little babies and just accept that the president of the united states knows more about politics and gun control than they do.
Not at all friend, not at all. People have the mentality that just because President Obama was re-elected, everyone who disagrees needs to shut up and let Obama do what he wants. Well there were other people elected too, you know. Like people to the House of Representatives and the Senate.
That's the liberal New York state government for you. They were so eager to ban guns, they were so stupid and didn't even read the damn bill before they voted on it. I can see these guys are really dependable when it comes to passing legislation.
The issue isn't as black and white as it being liberals and conservatives, it'd be nice if you didn't paint it like that.
literally the only point to posting this was so that the same people who always post these threads or post in the firearms thread can stroke themselves, call people fascists, mass rate dumbs, then bolt by calling kopimi or sigma or whoever a douche or something like this is worse than the mlp shit we've had on this forum, and that's a high standard to reach
I'll second this with this: http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1240926 I'm not holding it against you UziXxX, but I think you missed my point posting it.
literally the only point to posting this was so that the same people who always post these threads or post in the firearms thread can stroke themselves, call people fascists, mass rate dumbs, then bolt by calling kopimi or sigma or whoever a douche or something like this is worse than the mlp shit we've had on this forum, and that's a high standard to reach
you could say the same about anyone who posts a science thread, or a thread about a war, or something. how do you differentiate between "important news" and "circle jerk threads"?
Besides, I'm not talking about mass shootings.
Fair enough. I apologize, I thought you were. My mistake.
Not at all friend, not at all. People have the mentality that just because President Obama was re-elected, everyone who disagrees needs to shut up and let Obama do what he wants. Well there were other people elected too, you know. Like people to the House of Representatives and the Senate.
People probably have that mentality because it's true. He's the president, not you. Obviously the people should have a say, but you are in the minority on this one.
No one anywhere is saying they shouldn't do it. But your point is completely diluted when you start comparing gun control to the Nazi's. That's fucking crazy.
Well no shit. My point was couple of swastika's doesn't make a demographic crazy.
Pro-gun people need to stop being little babies and just accept that the president of the united states knows more about politics and gun control than they do.
yeah, I'm still going to question my government, thanks.
Wow that's a great generalization there.
an utterly falsifiable one, feel free to prove me wrong; just call kopimi a name or something and you're done
jesus christ you fucking gun nuts gun rights are fine, just chill the fuck out and remember that people are scared because of all the shootings they want something done about it so they're after guns, it's happened before and nothing came about it this gun control craze will blow over no need to jerk your cocks dry about keeping your guns, you'll still have them
you could say the same about anyone who posts a science thread, or a thread about a war, or something. how do you differentiate between "important news" and "circle jerk threads"?
arbitrarily and with lots of personal bias
you could say the same about anyone who posts a science thread, or a thread about a war, or something.
i could but i would be wrong
yeah, I'm still going to question my government, thanks.
And you are still going to be completely ignored. Good luck.
i could but i would be wrong
why
Wow that's a great generalization there.
Seriously, just click on "Who posted":
People probably have that mentality because it's true. He's the president, not you. Obviously the people should have a say, but you are in the minority on this one.
Obama is president, not king. There are three different branches of government. He is the head of the executive branch. Not the legislative, and not the judiciary.
Wow that's a great generalization there.
Nah these are all the exact same people I always see in these threads.
Seriously, just click on "Who posted":
Doesn't mean we're calling people names, lol
Doesn't mean we're calling people names, lol
His point was that it was that it was a circle jerk, you know that.
why
because those threads don't have the regulars from another thread imported so they can mutually agree with each other on arguments they stole from other people ok i get it "GUNS", they are super-fascinating to some people but when you already have all the people who fucking care about this news in one thread why not just post it in that thread so you don't have to make threads that don't serve a purpose or derail other threads about far more important shit than a bunch of bored people marching with swastikas.
I was thinking, and I realized that the Second Amendment was enacted in 1791. Back then, all guns were single shot, flintlock, muzzle-loading, and made specially by gunsmiths. They were quite rare, so the chance of say, a mass shooting, was practically non-existent. I believe that laws and amendments should change as technology changes: in this case, I think they should look over the Second Amendment and change it so it fits with the technology and availability of guns today, not in 1791. (Please don't construe this as me being a gun control nut, I simply think they should rethink laws that are hundreds of years old.)
Pro-gun people need to stop being little babies and just accept that the president of the united states knows more about politics and gun control than they do.
lol
bradyns comments in almost every science thread, and ovb comments in a lot of them(especially if it's about marine such and such), does that make those threads a circlejerk?
His point was that it was that it was a circle jerk, you know that.
It is a circlejerk, between passionate pro-gunners and passionate anti-gunners. That is never going to change. His statement about us calling them names was false.
because those threads don't have the regulars from another thread imported so they can mutually agree with each other on arguments they stole from other people ok i get it "GUNS", they are super-fascinating to some people but when you already have all the people who fucking care about this news in one thread why not just post it in that thread so you don't have to make threads that don't serve a purpose or derail other threads about far more important shit than a bunch of bored people marching with swastikas.
We should bring back megathreads for these hot-button topics when things like this happen. As long as the OP can be updated with each article. Would that be better?
