Also what is it with company changing their slogans to shitty small ones? Not to mention costing the X million dollars to do it?
It's been "So Good" in Australia for what, like 2 years now?
It also says "Phwaaaaaa" on some of the packaging now for whatever reason.
i don't eat KFC for for health... i eat it to clog my arteries
I fucking hate KFC.
People getting buthurt about a stupid slogan for a dumpy fast food joint.
Find something else to be mad about losers.
this really, it's unbelievable how upset people get about a different slogan

People like to feel comfortable about things, and dislike it when you make changes to something that makes it loose its familiarity.
Oh I thought the new slogan would be "once you go black, you never go back".
They changed this about a year ago, have you guys seen the commercials?

I prefer to go outside rather than watch TV all day
the commercials with the new slogan are so stupid

But you don't eat at kfc because of the slogan. The slogan is just something extra that reminds you of kfc and I can't imagine why people think kfc is ruined because of the slogan changes.
The world is crumbling.
The end is near.
I'm sure you all know marketing better than the team KFC pays many millions. There are times when a marketing is blatantly bad, but this is all very straightforward image-changing.
What the fuck man
uh, using different oils will probably make the food taste better. The reason they use trans-fats in their food isn't because of the taste, it's due to logistical issues like cost and spoilage. It's symptomatic of a society with screwed up ideas about health where people instantly associate "healthy" with "tastes bad"
feels good man
I'm going to get some kfc now thanks to this thread; what should i get guys?

Also yeah, they did this like a year ago.
I dont even like KFC or Chicken for that matter so it doesn't really matter to me.
At least "Finger lickin good" had ameaning beyond "good food". "So good" is just some cookie cutter bs food slogan.
Ah, this brings me back to when me and my family were in America. We went from my aunts house in Los Angeles to Las Vegas. On the way back we stopped at a KFC. My cousin got some really bad diarrhea and could barely hold himself. :v:
I didn't feel so good afterwards myself and massive bombing took place in my aunts home shortly after we got home.
Good times.
At least in Asia, their slogan is alread "So Good."
Im still upset I missed my chance at eating a double down...
Wait a second, so is "So good" copyright now?
So you're telling me I can't say anything is "So good" anymore?
Sheeeeiiit
I work at KFC in Aus and it's been 'so good' for a while now. Well, I think... I don't pay much attention to the slogan.
KFC in Canada switched to non-hydrogenated trans-fat-free oil a long time ago and it made their food taste better, so everyone in this thread telling the healthy types to stop trying to change their KFC are wrong. It went from tasting like a greasy mess to honest-to-goodness fried chicken.
Hurr they changed the name so it's probably healthier now, come 'ere kids
Hurr they changed the name so it's probably healthier now, come 'ere kids
actually it specifically mentions making the food healthier in addition to changing their name in the article
Dammit KFC, I want finger lickin' good chicken, not so good chicken.
