It's pretty insane, I'm close to Liverpool which is far from the Blue Mountains, and there's crazy amounts of smoke in the air. I work in Penrith, we thought it had subsided on Sunday, but looks like it's flared up again today, not that windy but 35C weather won't help. Hope the conditions start to turn around soon, too many friends have had close calls.

Well here in Melbourne it's been raining and humid, not so bad down here. But it will get bad, this is Victoria....I live in a semi-rural area of Victoria , I remember those massive bushfires that covered my town in smoke but the fires never got close, there was a grassfire in my town that was quickly contained last year so that's the worse of it in my area.

Its so hot everyday that it basically smells like burnt leaves outside
