I've seen 2 reviews, each 5 minutes long, I've seen the first 30 minutes of the game, plus another 20-30 minutes of additional gameplay. its still extremely dumb, I assumed there would be as much sex humor as the third one but if there isn't that makes almost no difference in my opinion of the game.

I have no opinion of the game as I've not played it or seen enough. But most people hear "I haven't played it" and will immediately say a lot. It's very unsafe waters to go ahead and say that, but it's perfectly fine. that being said watching and actually playing are two different things. But it seems to simply be "Out of taste" for you. But please at least know that the only way anyone should be able to write a review on a game is if they sit down and give it a good, honest play-through themselves and play at least MOST of the game. Then they sit down, relax and take the info in afterwards, and compare to other games, etc. You don't have to be all 'super serious', you just have to be honest and open minded.

I've played saints row 3, I completed the game, I've seen about an hour of gameplay footage of saints row IV, and I know enough about it to have an informed opinion on it.

So pissed off fans is literally the easiest thing to see ever. When it comes to GTA, they only took what they had already and reinforced it. they didn't change it to a huge degree. There's no real artstyle or gameplay mechanic that has been really altered to a huge amount. It's still got the heart of what makes a GTA game a GTA game. IMHO with Saints Row 3/4 and GTA, there's really no point in staying as unserious as, lets say, GTASA, mostly because of the increasing power of graphics cards and how far realism is able to go. A more serious tone is better, if you want unserious, go play saints row.
