The comic where War Machine takes the mantle shows a character wrestling with the concept that he'll have to take on the mantle of Iron Man to save his friend(Tony) from himself(Tony). It was well written and was pretty well motivated, why Rhody did what he did was made clear by both the history, and by the writing that was present.

Same thing with Super-Girl too, and that shit is old as fuck but It's really nothing special It's just boring old Super-Man but with a sweet sweet puss
