Do you know why Kamal Khan was accepted where Jane Foster, Riri Williams, and others werent? Carol Danvers, former Ms. Marvel, the only Ms. Marvel (save one or two brief replacements when she was Binary), was promoted to Captain Marvel. She moved up and assumed a role that had been vacant for about a decade or two, which left her role vacant. So they filled the vacancy. Add onto that, that the character is competently written and drawn, and no shit people dont have a problem with it. You're, again, wrong about the race shit.

You're taking a character that people like, and replacing them with a character that people don't give a fuck about, and you're telling them "care about this one now". Except unlike with MGS2, there is no greater purpose or message. It's just annoying.
