You know what let's restore the Holy Roman Empire I mean Germany can handle it can't it
Let's restore the Teutonic Knights as well while we're at it. I'm sure you weren't using that clay anyway, were you? [editline]18th March 2014[/editline]
The Byzantines got so butthurt when the Frankish emissaries pointed that out.
Also the reason why Karl the Great (who most certainly isn't called Charlemagne, you buttmad Frenchies) was crowned Roman Emperor by Leo III.
Let's restore the Teutonic Knights as well while we're at it. I'm sure you weren't using that clay anyway, were you?
Not nearly as well as the Teutonic Order could I'm sure.
Are they serious about it, or just trying to poke fun at it?
Are they serious about it, or just trying to poke fun at it?
Yes
Are they serious about it, or just trying to poke fun at it?
If they're serious, there will be a lot of Russian tourists in Turkey soon Those tourists won't defend themselves
Also the reason why Karl the Great (who most certainly isn't called Charlemagne, you buttmad Frenchies) was crowned Roman Emperor by Leo III.
I always assumed that was because Leo III was drunk with power. And pissy that the other Patriarchs thought he was a semi-heretical asshole. Hint: [sp]he was.[/sp]

I say do it!
Didn't Russia lose the Crimean War? If anything, that bolsters the Turkish claims on the Crimea in my eyes.
It takes less than a minute to google that out for precise information, as well as seeing that
By art. IV Britain, France, Sardinia and Turkey restored to Russia "the towns and ports of Sevastopol, Balaklava, Kamish, Eupatoria, Kerch, Jenikale, Kinburn, as well as all other territories occupied by the allied troops."
Crimea was basically handed back to Russia.
Crimea was basically handed back to Russia.
Which would actually strengthen their position in that they were holding to the stipulations of the treaty.
"Turkey has threatened Russia!" "Tales of your misdeeds are told from Ireland to Cathay!"
"You just had a sexual experience with your nephew!"
"You just had a sexual experience with your nephew!"
"Your low character is the subject of Greek plays!"
"Your low character is the subject of Greek plays!"
"May Allah destroy your house!"
It takes less than a minute to google that out for precise information, as well as seeing that Crimea was basically handed back to Russia.
Yeah, but the crucial point of that statement is:
By art. IV Britain, France, Sardinia and Turkey restored to Russia "the towns and ports of Sevastopol, Balaklava, Kamish, Eupatoria, Kerch, Jenikale, Kinburn, as well as all other territories occupied by the allied troops."
So yeah, the Allied forces occupied the land and Russia lost. I'm fully confident that the Turks can take the Crimea again.
Yeah, but the crucial point of that statement is: So yeah, the Allied forces occupied the land and Russia lost. I'm fully confident that the Turks can take the Crimea again.
Wasn't most of that fighting force English and French?
This just in thousands of Janissaries have arrived in the Crimea, they are not wearing any military insignia. Turkey insists they are a Crimean self defence force, depsite being armed with muskets and cannon of obvious Ottoman design.
A worthy opponent to the Serb volunteers :v:

I actually am living in a Town that was largely influenced and expanded upon by the Teutonic order. And Marienburg is just around the corner, good as new. Teutons do your work please
I think every country should make claims to each other based on historical treaties and ownership. Imagine the headlines: "Denmark and France dispute claims over England as England reclaims a quarter of the earth. Italy disintegrates amid France's confusion."

The Ottoman Empire fell apart so them even considering calling a claim is a bit absurd. Its this same logic that allowed Hong Kong to be taken over by the oppressive PRC.
Hundred Years War v.2.
Wasn't the whole 18th century the second hundred years war basically?
