Isn't too many goddamned threads full of the same arguments? Regardless of the story, the arguments always devolve in "Fuck the Government" and "Fuck Assange", and little else.

If all of the threads are basically going to devolve in to the same argument regardless of the actual thread content, then it makes far more sense to push all of that in to one thread instead of filling up ITN.

Assange himself isn't that important a piece of the puzzle. Wikileaks will continue with or without him, so there's really no reason to kill him. It would only drastically increase public support for wikileaks

My only problem with this is that I'm not going to bother coming back to this thread and then shift through a pretty jumbled OP of news sources to find something new every hour.

That's the whole point of ITN, "Blah Blah Megathread" doesn't present anything news worthy and unless you update the title every time there's a new major story. I'd rather just read an actual news site in that case.

I bet that after all this blows over, there are going to be some anti-net neutrality campaigns using these recent attacks on these businesses as their standing platform.

Evendentally its going to end up with anon having themselves to blame. They are the ones doing the attacks which will fuel those campaigns. None of these attacks should have happened in the first place but its unfortunate that people are too stupid to stay out of it.

IMO this is a far too big news story to cover in one single thread. Especially when every story is completely unrelated. People who moan about there being too many news threads in this forum should notice that its a news forum and this is a news forum.

Although it would be good to have a thread like this for all the minor stories, and as a sort of hub for all Wikileaks related news. Is there any chance you could link to the separate threads for the major stories as and when they appear?
