When I download a torrenting program, I intend to only use it for Linux distros.

Just because it can be used to do something illegal doesn't mean it is illegal. You can DDoS yourself for fun!

I dunno why they would be hitting OVH, OVH is is fine with hosting the Wikileaks stuff it hosts.
It might be the sudden load upon Wikileaks.

Here's a thought; If Asssange et al did "Release responsibly", who are they to be deciding what the world should see? The irony of a whistle-blower society that keeps secrets is beyond me.

It's not illegal to send packets of data. Just because your rate of sending packets is greater than a shitty server can handle receiving them shouldn't make it illegal.

They can also get your for deliberately hurting a company's profit/business.
