If someone supplies you with something don't be surprised if they tell other people what they're supplying you with. If the UK didn't want anyone else to know exactly what they have then even the US shouldn't be involved. So I think this is a case where no one(US/Russia/UK) thinks it's a big deal except the naive people who think marking 'secret' on something keeps it secret.
