Old people still need to be accountable when they make an ass of themselves I say, even more so given the condition they may be in. I remember this news story a couple years back. An old lady got pulled over by cops, was loud as fuck shouting at them, resisting everything while basically being the meanest bitch she could be, the cops had to taze her just to get her to stop swinging at them and suddenly the cops were to blame.

The guy will only be done for manslaughter if either: 1) It turns out he attacked first or 2) His punch isn't considered to be reasonable force I can't see he him being done on the second one, so it's mostly down to wether he punched first. I feel sorry for him as well - imagine how'd you feel if you'd accidently killed someone.

I don't think he should have hit back. The old guy might have been a dick and swung first but he didn't have to hit back, you're supposed to strive to be better not stoop to stupidity.
