It was pretty bad in south kent at around 2am, it even took the power out for a while. Best storm I've ever seen.
You're English my friend, that won't be too hard!
rude
Got woken up at 4am by this HUGE as fuck thunderstorm, never seen such consistent thunder, usually its around one or two that you can hear but this was insane [editline]23rd July 2013[/editline] I was hearing thunder every 30 minutes over here in Leicester from 8pm onwards and then it got insane
It's Thor's work. He's displeased they didn't name the royal baby in his honor.
fucking lay in bed all night crying like a baby with the thunderstorms going off... sheesh why do I have to be so scared of them
I'm still pissed that I didn't see a drop of rain all night down here (Hampshire)
I saw lightning outside but no sound around 2 this morning And then the phone went off
Lightning storm was wicked last night, I saw like 2 or 3 sets of flashes which included 2 or 3 bolts of lightning.
I was leaning out of my window at 2am watching the sky light up, beautiful.
It was pretty bad in south kent at around 2am, it even took the power out for a while.
At least you get rain when its hot out.. look at Las Vegas.. hot AND constantly dry
I'm not too familiar with the Nevada climate, but don't you have monsoons during the summer? I lived in Arizona for a couple of years, and even though it was desertous and dry most of the time, for a period of about two months during the summer time we would get these absolutely torrential storms, with high winds and heavy fogs. Monsoons! They were very neat, both because the storms themselves were oddly refreshing, and because for a short period out of the year, the desert would turn bloom, which was very beautiful. Big fields of grass and flowers. Arizona is a lovely place to live. [t]http://www.mnartists.org/uploads/users/user_17196/5cad8e5c4251f52c16a1fa5e13021414/5cad8e5c4251f52c16a1fa5e13021414.jpg[/t]
What? There's no rain here in Scotland, the day is still sunny as all hell. Unless it just takes time and I'm being an impatient little fuck.
Winters are better because you can easily get warmer, but it's pretty difficult to cool down.
Winters are worse, because you're stuck inside the whole time! It's especially bad if you live somewhere where it gets butt-clenchingly cold, but without any snow. I'm living in Missouri now, and the winters here suck eggs. Instead of snow, we just get freezing rain. Everything shuts down, your car has trouble starting, going outside is an involved affair that necessitates coats and hats and gloves and blah blah blah. I would way rather live in a hot climate than a cold climate. It's more convenient for anybody who has to, or likes to go outside. Plus, in hot weather women wear sun dresses, which I quite like. They are classy and attractive.
Did we anger a god or something?
Did we anger a god or something?
I thought it was like War Of The Worlds.. I was scared haha.
How I missed the rain.
It's gone up to 90% humidity after today. It's bloody horrible.
I wish my country have some crazy weather you British has. It's boring down at the equator.
Fucking hell, the thunder woke up my entire family at around 3 in the morning. The loudest thunderbolt I think I ever heard and I bolted up out of my sleep thinking there had been a fucking explosion on the road outside or something. I suppose I prefer it to the ungodly heat, though.
It sounded like the sky was peeling itself apart when the thunder hit around Glasgow.
Northern Ireland :c
