It's mothers day kids let's make our cards. Happy mothers day Jim. How adorable.
Think a little further. He/she'll be teased and disdained for his whole childhood.
Related.
Of course they'll be good parents, they've got plenty of experience putting talcum power on sore arses.
If this were true, I would think men could reproduce with themselves. But they can't. Therefore, this study is probably missing something.
What? [editline]05:59PM[/editline]
Of course they'll be good parents, they've got plenty of experience putting talcum power on sore arses.
You're quoting that from a comedian.
I know, I do that alot. [editline]05:07PM[/editline] Also, epic ad below.
I'm going to feel so sad for her when she gets older and understands this more. :saddowns:
Yeah, it'll be heartbreaking when she encounters prejudiced people for the first time.
Makes it seem like this study is a response to the studies that show the straight families are better.
I agree with you on the stupidity of dragging one-upmanship into this, but the point is that there are no studies into this. The quote means that certain people just assume without any evidence.
I know, I do that alot. [editline]05:07PM[/editline] Also, epic ad below.
If you have to steal jokes from comedians, that means that you aren't funny.
Wikipedia disagrees, mostly with sources that I can't check myself.
Nice job reading a few sentences out of a wikipedia article and thinking that you understand the subject. FYI, that article states that the non-gender-conforming childhood interests only occurred in some children who turned out to be homosexual, and that that is most likely due to sexual orientation, rather than causing the different sexual orientation. If having more feminine influence caused a person to be gay, then boys raised by single mothers would be more likely to be gay, which is, statistically, not true in the slightest. The same thing goes for girls raised by single fathers. Seriously, psychological development is my field of study. I know what I am talking about.
Bullshit. [editline]07:50PM[/editline] Whatever, the species still needs straight men. Right? [editline]07:50PM[/editline] Right? :smith:
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCk
I love the internet

And they pretty much all agree that same-sex couples make just as good parents as opposite-sex couples.

I guess it's only studies with extreme titles like this that get any media attention. All I knew is there were no studies that proved same sex parents being worse in some way.
I knew someone in middle school who's mother got killed in a car accident and he was forced to stay with two gay guys even though he had a father who was perfectly capable of taking care of him His dad eventually killed himself and he did too once he found out
Are you questioning my authoritah?
Hahaha. If you sassed Mikfoz he would have perma'd ya. :v:
and the moral of this story is... ???
I have no idea, but one of the gay guys kinda rubbed me in a wrong way
My dad will shag your dad.
I saw on the news this morning that it is "proven that having your dad around increases performance at school" so maybe to gay guys is super effective!
I saw on the news this morning that it is "proven that having your dad around increases performance at school" so maybe to gay guys is super effective!
My Dad's Trysexual, so is that why I do so well in school?
My Dad's Trysexual, so is that why I do so well in school?
My dad's dead :frown: [editline]06:42PM[/editline]
If the kid was taken off of his dad, then obviously his dad wasn't perfectly capable of taking care of him.
His dad lived in Arizona and was an accountant, I was going to middle school in the Shitcago area. The rest of his relatives were in Russia Maybe that had something to do with it, I dunno but his dad was a pretty cool guy
As long as it's not going to get kids beat up or teased, and revert the either 'gay' negative thing then I'm good with it. As long as they keep it in their god damn rooms
As long as it's not going to get kids beat up or teased, and revert the either 'gay' negative thing then I'm good with it. They're no different than straight people.
As for the "I was born gay" that is complete bullshit. It IS a learned behavior, but who cares? Just because they don't like vagina, does not mean they are less of a person. But, I still don't want to get hit on by another man.

Understandably you're assuming that I hold some beliefs about causality like the user you were quoting before me. You, too, were vague about whether you mean causality or correlation, and therefore I felt like I should point out that the literal meaning of your post is incorrect.
I think we knew this already. The only ones really insisting on gay couples not being capable of raising children are the Christian boneheads, when reality clearly begs to differ.
As for the "I was born gay" that is complete bullshit. It IS a learned behavior, but who cares? Just because they don't like vagina, does not mean they are less of a person. But, I still don't want to get hit on by another man.
No, it's not learned behavior. If it were learned behavior, then it would be possible to find a certain, specific environment that leads to homosexuality. It's not. The percentage of population who are homosexual is remarkably constant throughout first world countries, despite massive cultural differences. respek for not hating gays tho :shobon: But why would getting hit on by a man be such a terrible thing? If a guy hits on you, and you're straight, then say "No, I'm straight". There. Done. It's over. No loss of life.
Rod Cox
Is this a joke?
Is this a joke?
don't dilly-dally. Post whatever dumb, misinformed opinion about how gays are unnatural you came here to post and get out. No need to make this longer than it needs to be
