Did his wife see nothing wrong with the fact that he told her he was going to play Russian roulette?!
another one bites the dust
This story reminds me of the guy who tried to play Russian Roulette, with a semi-automatic pistol.
That's a dog not gone shame. I tried.
Horrible. On EVERYONE'S part. I know the guy is an idiot and shot himself in a battle of russian roulette with a dog, but seriously, how can you say something like that? I don't care how much you like animals or hate the guy, favoring its life over the guy in ANY kind of imminent death situation is just rude. Everyone is going to say "good dog best friend, I'm glad it was him and not the dog" but they don't realize what they're really saying. They'd rather have the idiot, a fellow human being, die in place of the dog. I'd rather have NEITHER of them die. The guy could have gotten help and medication and NOT played russian roulette against a dog and lost. How's that for a solution? edit: and no, I'm not trying to start a flame war, it's my opinion, stop getting mad about it because you feel otherwise
I think they mean thankfully because otherwise he would have shot the dog and still been depressed
Sometimes I wonder what makes people do the shit they do..even if they are under the influence of something.

Animals all the way! Fight the power maaan! [editline]11th June 2011[/editline]
I'd rather the dog survive, than someone who's clearly deranged, and has a gun.
I know its heartless to agree that a dogs life is over a humans life, but in this case, I couldn't agree more.

Fuck stupid people, there should be dog licenses so shit like this dosent happen. Anything that is alive and conscious deserves to live, i am pretty sure animals can feel pain, pigs are useless, cows are.. useful but both dead and alive, and dogs are only really useful alive, they are a major factor of stress releif, they smell stuff and are fantastic at all kinds of things. The man deserved it, agree with No_One. But I am glad the dog is alive, i am sorry for the mans demise, and for the dogs loss.
the dog has 60+ luck
Such is life in Indiana. :saddowns:
At least you don't have a 90% corrupt political climate like we do here in Illinois. :argh: It's all Blagojevich's fault!
Indiana represent. [editline]11th June 2011[/editline]
natural selection, if you play russian roulette with a dog and lose you probably weren't meant for this world anyway.
Losing to a dog in ANY sort of game is troubling Except fetch and running
It's a shame he didn't seek help. He could've gotten a new leash on life.
He's barking mad.

Hahaha, people these days... They're all idiots.
I would have favored a dogs life over Osama bin Laden's life. I don't care if he's human. He was a monster. Being a human shouldn't be an automatic safeguard against death over other beings. Sure, it should be an advantage, we are humans after all, but if you have done enough horrible things then you deserve it. Osama deserved to die (and no, I wouldn't have denied the man a trial, but his death doesn't affect me. The world is better off without him.) Also funny how you tell people not to get mad about your opinion, yet you just told everybody else that their opinion was horrible.
osama bin laden is not a depressed drunk guy with a gun and also i told people not to get mad about my opinion because i didn't want people to get mad about my opinion, crazy i know, i did not come outright and say that everyone else's opinion is stupid like everyone in this thread has been saying, all i said was that it was pointless to argue about anybody's opinion on the subject including my own because opinions are something that don't ever change but that everyone WANTS to change

You would have one if the dog was vicious and trying to rip his throat out, and he tried to shoot it. But he actually shot at the dog several times without getting the right chamber, then decided "Herpderp let's shoot myself"
And people say I am full of shit when I say my state is fucking nuts.
Okay, so why is a drunk depressed guy allowed a gun again? Oh yeah, AMURRICA FUCK YEAH!!
Wow, what a fucking moron. What's next, playing this game against a box?
osama bin laden is not a depressed drunk guy with a gun and also i told people not to get mad about my opinion because i didn't want people to get mad about my opinion, crazy i know, i did not come outright and say that everyone else's opinion is stupid like everyone in this thread has been saying, all i said was that it was pointless to argue about anybody's opinion on the subject including my own because opinions are something that don't ever change but that everyone WANTS to change
You started your post by saying: "Horrible. On EVERYONE'S part." Yeah, idk, that's not really outright saying that people have horrible opinions, is it? :downs: And you didn't say that it was specifically the drunk you were talking about, it was humans in general: "They'd rather have the idiot, a fellow human being, die in place of the dog." Which is why I used another one of our fellow human beings, Osama bin Laden, as an example. And this is a FORUM. The entire point of this is discussing opinions.
Glad the dog won, not saying I prefer animal over humans life, it's just that the dog had no idea what was going on, had no way to defend himself or do anything. Guessing the rest of this thread is going to be about "omg dog should live over humans" If the wife knew what he was doing, why didn't she stop him?

himself
What a fucking idiot, he got what was coming to him when the bullet at first wasn't around for the dog, then went off through his skull

What's wrong with that? Does it instantly make him a furry?
