Technically Gearbox didn't make it (or at least not most of it,) but picking up a project like DNF is a very questionable decision. You're investing in a game that has a lot of hype behind it, but also needs to meet very high expectations and has a very strong likelihood of being mediocre. A lot of the people who will buy DNF have probably never played DN3D, and for them this is what will define the entire franchise. If it's a flop, than those people aren't going to be buying anything Duke Nukem related ever again.

pulp is usually an exploration of it you could say
whether it criticizes social ills or revels in them depends on the pulp, but i don't think anyone could really argue that duke nukem is a criticism of anything :v:

Yes they do. Every single game released recently as I remember got leaked on the internet at least a day before release. With the 360 versions being leaked even earlier before that.

There really isn't much sex or toilet humor at all in the content Duke Nukem is based off of, either. Shooting and muscular guys talking badass, yes, but the rest is stuff 80s action movies aren't really remembered for.

naw it's the little bit of playing online I've done on the xbox, granted all I've got is a little bit of halo and mw2 at a friend's house, I don't own an xbox myself.

Too bad after playing the demo, the game sucks. Two weapon limit! No Duke kick! Regenerating health (could've at least made his EGO (health) regen when you kill shit)!

PC version got leaked on like monday. There's no cracks for it yet though.
Oh, and the PS3 version is leaked too, so it's pretty much leaked on all platforms now. Only the PC version can't be played yet.

the demo got leaked on monday, it was supposed to come out next tuesday
Only reason it's news is because it's Duke Nukem. I knew this shit would happen. Any other game and not a slightest shit would be given save for Human Revolution and Crysis 2 but that was a VERY early and large chunk of game.
Leaks aren't a surprise at all. Usually consoles leak anywhere up to a week early and the PC a day or two.
