Because nothing says America like a shirtless guy with a mullet and NASCAR hat, standing in front of his trailer wearing jeans with paint splatters all over them, holding up a tall can of America
we've been over this
America has never been great.
Microbreweries is the only good thing. Which americans are actually good at and it's a shame shit brands like Budweiser is the main image of the american beer industry.
tbh i feel like from a copyright/advertising standpoint there seems something odd about this. like i'm fine if country name is in product name, but for it to be the entire name?
When I went to the US a couple of months ago I bought a budweiser and thought it couldn't be that bad. It was the worst thing I've ever tasted. Tasted like lightly carbonated water with a hint of bitterness.
You do realize there's different types of budweiser beers? Bud light is not the only one.
Americant make a good beer
this seems kinda arrogant in a way
Everyone know American beer is crap. Smart people get the good stuff from Canada.
The craft brew scene here in Socal alone blows Canada's brews out of the water.
America has never been great.
Thanks for the fantastic analysis of the last two hundred and forty years of American history, chief. I'm sure your stunning review will be in the history books by tomorrow.
Everyone know American beer is crap. Smart people get the good stuff from Canada.
Haha you must not drink much beer if you think Budweiser is all we got.
make america great again trumps plan all along
Microbreweries. "Throw an ungodly amount of hops where they don't belong"
Unless you're, you know, drinking a good micro-brew
Sigh...welcome to the club, America. Here is an infuriating video:
i dont know what you guys are talking about, i drink budweiser most of the time i drink. maybe australian beers are much worse, but it taste a lot better than most of the beer brewed here.
Nothing says America like cheap beer that tastes and likely is made of piss.
But if they ever improve the recipe, they can finally say that they made America Great Again.

I don't know what urine tastes like. I also don't know what budweiser (or any beer) tastes like. Are people being hyperbolic when they say it tastes like urine? Like I know it's the same color, but the taste must be different.
Nothing says America like cheap beer that tastes and likely is made of piss.
hope you don't speak from experiance [editline]10th May 2016[/editline]
this seems kinda arrogant in a way
Tbh considering they call themselves "The king of beers" it doesn't surprise me that they would be arrogant

Budwesier or Bud Lite or both pretty bad beers in the overall pantheon of beers. It however, astounds me to think it's the most successful beer brand there is. It's not like I choose to dislike Bud, it's just not a good tasting beer. There's so many better beers of it's specific variety in it's price point.
Is this some ploy to get people to say they don't like America?
Haven't tried Budweiser or Miller yet. Tried Coors the other day and couldn't even finish it. I like Belgian pale ales, though thanks for the beer Belgium.
Everyone knows American beer is crap. Smart people get the good stuff from Canada.
Eh tbh it's probably just the cheap mass-market stuff; microbreweries are generally rather good, and America is naturally replete with them. I find it to be the same with the very cheap Finnish beers (though tbh never had the American equivalent to compare with), so as a poor student I tend to go for the vodka instead.
budweiser was never very popular really, not until bud light came out as the first light lager that didn't taste like actual vomit (looking at you, miller light). obviously a low calorie beer would do well. before bud light came around the dominant beers were pbr, rolling rock, schlitz, shiner, lonestar, and a few big imports like heineken. Smart people get the good stuff from Canada.
ah yes, canada, the country that gave us ice beer and fruity malt liquor based bitch beers [editline]11th May 2016[/editline] the mass market stuff is crap no matter what country you're in (unless that country is belgium, I don't know how they can afford to do it). try something like yeungling black and tan, it'll change your mind about american beers. and the stuff is cheap as dirt too
