When I went to the US a couple of months ago I bought a budweiser and thought it couldn't be that bad. It was the worst thing I've ever tasted. Tasted like lightly carbonated water with a hint of bitterness.
You haven't had shitty beer until you've tasted a Natty Lite. Not just a Natty Lite, but a Natty Lite that's sold in Utah.
Will never buy from them again.
And this is how it will be marketed.
Literally cannot name a Canadian beer brand. Japanese and Thai beers are best imo
I think I'll stick with Rickards red

Asahi is unremarkable, and I thought Kirin Ichiban was too bitter. Thai beers are good, though, I've tried Chang and Sing Ha and liked them both. As far as Korea goes, Kloud was like drinking a pint and a half of non-alcoholic beer, cause I didn't get buzzed at all. I still want to try Cass, but if I'm out getting Honey Pig (korean food), I'm getting plain Soju, not beer.
It doesnt actually taste like piss. They use the word piss to describe how bad it tastes
i disagree. most of the beer i've had (coors, budweiser, and miller lite) taste like carbonated bitterness with 5-25% piss mixed in. so it does genuinely taste kinda like piss
Sigh...welcome to the club, America. Here is an infuriating video:
Infuriating? That's a hell of a lot better beer commercial then what we get around here...

Try something pale, like a belgian white. Blue Moon is pretty good, and so is Hoegaarden
You drank all the worst beers. Try something pale, like a belgian white. Blue Moon is pretty good, and so is Hoegaarden
Can confirm, Blue Moon is good shit. Shock Top is also pretty good if you like citrus flavors, those two were my go-to beers when I used to drink. Be careful about what Blue Moon you get though, they do some seasonal beers throughout the year and they're usually pretty different from regular.
No one in the US sits down for a quality drink of Bud. They buy a pack and bring it to a party to use either for getting drunk or drinking because it's cold and they don't want water or soda. There are about a thousand different types of beer to pick from if you want something quality.
Atleast now you guys have a good reason to vote for trump, he will make your beer taste great once more.
Atleast now you guys have a good reason to vote for trump, he will make your beer taste great once more.
You're russian right? What's the best russian beer?
Thanks for the fantastic analysis of the last two hundred and forty years of American history, chief. I'm sure your stunning review will be in the history books by tomorrow.
The strategy, no one will ever be able to criticize bud beer without backslash ever again. I mean, it's bad even for a beer that's just made to get you drunk.
I like bud. It's cheap as shite and great for nights out. It doesn't taste nearly as bad as some people in this thread are making it out tobe.
The craft brew scene here in Socal alone blows Canada's brews out of the water.
British Columbia in particular has a huuuge craft beer scene, I wouldn't count Canada out till you've tried some beers from BC
You're russian right? What's the best russian beer?
Not a big fan of russian beers, sorry Kvas is good
Not a big fan of russian beers, sorry Kvas is good
Right, you just go straight for vodka don't you?
Right, you just go straight for vodka don't you?
If your goal is to get shitfaced the cheapest way possible, then vodka in general is the way to go.
When I went to the US a couple of months ago I bought a budweiser and thought it couldn't be that bad. It was the worst thing I've ever tasted. Tasted like lightly carbonated water with a hint of bitterness.
Shame, because we surprisngly have an insanely good micro-brew scene here now with great beers, just a bit expensive. Wanna know why we sometimes fund that pisswater? Because I can 30 of those for like $13 sometimes at like 4% alch and would only really need 6 to get me going. Or I could by 12 slightly higher quality but still big company beer like Blue Moon for $15 Or I could buy really good tasting beer at $11 for 4 unless I want to drive a few hours to micro-brews and get it a bit cheaper. And im not even in our cheapest states with the loosest laws, im sure some states you could find a special on a 30 rack of budlight for like $8. As bad as the taste is, you stop noticing it pretty quick and after a few they really just taste like water.
You don't Drink America, you chug it.
You don't Drink America, you chug it.
But do you chug it down in one go? (Or does "chug it" mean exactly that?)
But do you chug it down in one go? (Or does "chug it" mean exactly that?)
Just drinking as much as possible in one breath. If you wanna do it in one go you can always shotgun it.
Just drinking as much as possible in one breath. If you wanna do it in one go you can always shotgun it.
Not a bottle you can't.
Not a bottle you can't.
That's where you are wrong, inserting a straw into the opening and bending it over produces the same effect as shotgunning.
But do you chug it down in one go? (Or does "chug it" mean exactly that?)
The goal is to drink enough of it fast enough so the other 20 or so cans you have, you don't give a shit how they taste. It's cheap for a reason just like bud light or PBR, you aren't buying it for the taste, you're buying $/oz of ABV%. There is a reason you see budlight/millerlite/PBR potrayed in college movies or with rednecks, because a 24 pack of those beers are like 10bux
