I'm glad I didn't jump on the BO bandwagon with this game (ps3 owner here). Played it for quite a bit on my friend's 360, not a lot of connectivity issues, but the graphics were notably worse from the previous 2 Call of Duty titles (probably due to all the new "features" like custom emblems etc). I'd prefer a more streamlined gaming experience over gimmicks like customized fucking reticules for every gun in the game. Were optical sights even that prevalent during the game's set time period?
Everyone always says they've had it with COD. Then they buy the next game.
I said I was done when 3 was out. I haven't bought any CoD game since :smug: My only experience with Black Ops was at a friend's house on PS3. I didn't enjoy it, I don't see how stuff like dolphin diving can be fun. Auto-aim is fucking terrible too, 3 feet away from a guy's head and auto-aim still locks you on target.

can someone tell me what a 13 year old finds appealing with cod games? i'm not saying i hate them because i've played a LOT of mw2, but i bought Black Ops and i didn't play more than 10 hours [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] Oh and sorry for using 13 year old but it's the best i can use to describe it

I play video games for fun not for some stupid sense of morale. "OH I DIDN'T BUY BLACK OPS!! NOW ACTIVISION HAS 60 LESS DOLLARS, HA HA HA"
i still can't connect to a god damn server and the menu freezes
Also the easy 10 minute fixable ascension leaderboard bug where it resets your score/rounds etc to the last match you played on the xbox could be fixed fast if they would spend their time doing bug fixes instead of swimming in money. Heh just noticed that when changing reticles colour (red dot sight or reflex) it is not even centered! It's not really something to rage over but this just shows how lazy they were, it's totally offset each colour you choose! Most noticable is red to green :v:

Yes, they can be imbalanced at times. Yes, Black Ops was rushed and lags like a bitch. Without these problems though, the game is still fun. It may not be the best game around but the multiplayer is very addicting.
Honk honk! All aboard the less laggy and well taken care of BF3 boat!
Everyone always says they've had it with COD. Then they buy the next game.
I am going to get my wallet ready for Battlefield 3 :smug:
Boat departs later next year.

I don't care if you don't like the game, but don't go on an hour long stint on how the game is produced by a bunch of "nazis" or some shit. I understand that Activision isn't doing the best job with the game, but hey. I can play it, I've only had a few run-ins with cheaters that have been faster dealt with and less significant than MW2, and the Map Pack is great. I am a consumer whore and proud of it. :colbert:
I like the way this was in the News section.
Same here, MW2 was rushed with the storyline/ balance and BLOPS was rushed with testing... does Activision ever learn?
No, they only get tons of money from stupid "cool" kids/adults.
I didn't even like the FIRST call of duty /hipstercred
Even Modern Warfare 2 still has those problems. It's like they put together a team of beginner-programmers and they made their first game but they can't quite fix the last problems. I just want to hit join game, and not have to restart the game 10 times until everyone can get into the party. Seriously now.
I uninstalled it, due to that Rebirth where i keep getting caught and the mission fails, isn't this game suppose be a action game rather then stealth, and I ended up failing the mission, but that's besides the point, i ended up screwing it by glitching it somehow. And I pretty much see reznoz still standing around. Also in Modern Warefare 2, i don't see the point of the snow climbing mission, doesn't matter what I do, your gonna die chaaaarlie.
do they beta test their games anymore?
I like BLOPS. Most of the major bugs have been patched and it runs fine for me. I'm still probably not gonna buy the next CoD game though, especially if it's an extension of the Modern Warfare story arc.
