Bungie reassures all of its 12 year old fans that teabagging IS in Halo: Reach

This hardly constitutes as news.
Halo is a damn good game. Its the community that makes it suck.
Never would have happened if it was a PC game :sigh:
also it is a PC game
Yeah, if you're 12.
Your post really made no sense :colbert:
I saw my 12 year old brother playing Halo 3, and he was teabagging opponents. I gave him a look that implied I'd smack him upside' the head, so he stopped.
Halo is actually a good game, it's just filled with 12 year olds.
The same sort of thing happened to CS:S a couple years ago.
But now... Those 12 year olds are in Garry's Mod. 0_0.....

Yeah, the pc port is dx10 only and even my screensaver looks better.
Halo is stupid.
There, I just summed up half of the future posts in this thread.
The plot is pretty unoriginal. Generic Space Marines vs. a religiously motivated alien race. Yup, like we've never seen that before...

To be honest I quite thoroughly enjoyed my first playthrough of Halo 1 when it hit PC way back 'in the day'. It was like this little sneak peak at what console gamers considered a 'good' game... Mostly the only reason I played it were for some of the graphical effects, which weren't that bad. The 3d skyboxes were pretty well done, and it was one of the first games that did a really impressive faux 'god rays' effect, like when you look at the sun through a patch of leaves... That was nice.
The voice acting was terrible and did not suit, the levels were mostly ultra-low detailed, the physics were laughable, the animations updated at such a horrifically slow rate that things just zipped around in the most odd and glitchy way possible, and it tried ever so hard to appear 'heroic' yet somehow forgetting that it was a game populated by aliens that run and scream like 3 year old toddlers on a sugar high.
By far the best parts of the game were the suitably well done Cortana voice overs, and the music. Everything else was pretty much garbage, and had been done better by many other games on the PC.
Well they specifically implemented teabagging in halo 3, so teabagging doesnt feel like YEA BITCH SUCK MY DICK I'M TRYING TO BE COOL, it feels like something you do in-game, such as taunting in TF2 after a kill.

Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnnnn
But I want to TEABAG!
I hear the Australian edition has banned teabagging because it's child porn.
Have you ever even tried the game?
If you play with your friends you'll notice it's actually a decent game.
:suicide:
If I did that, I'd break the game disc, kill my friends, and probably go crazy.
Your friends probably are good people and not the gamers who think they're so --=XxsUpA1337Pr0xX=--.
God damn, I hate my gamer friends IRL. They never stop talking about how good they think they are at MW2. The best players have others brag for them. I don't give a shit if you've gotten 40 something nukes, I don't care if you're 8th Prestige, I don't care what you did last night that was --XXXXXsooooMLG PRO!!!!!!!11!!!1!XXXXX--.
God damn, I'm mad just from writing this.
I've played Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST.
Nothing special - just generic shoot-em-ups.
ODST is worse, though. And that don't make a lick of sense, considering that it was developed after Halo 3.
Who cares if you're being teabag, it's just a game.
I remember an old CSS plugin that'd kill you if you repeatedly crouched over a corpse. :lovewcc:

I guess you never read the books. Or saw Halo Legends. Or you blitzed through the campaigns, skipped all the cutscenes, and didn't pay attention to anything...

Except your space marines are only generic if they wear blue armor.

ODST had a much better VA cast.

I dunno, I have played through the whole campaign of every game to date and am currently playing through ODST, I fucking love the story. I also love the way there are so many side stories and back history to it. If you look around in halo 3 you can find transcripts and communications between a couple of fore runners which adds to the whole plot line. Bungie seem to reward players who explore the games and don't just blaze through on a speed run of the game. And you have to admit, the Last mad dash in a warthog at the end of halo combat evolved and halo 3 was fucking epic. Can't say much for the online as i don't have x-box live, can't afford it and my parents wont pay for it. SO i haven't been exposed to the shitty 12 year old's, but having a small tourney in you living room with some beers and crisps and shit is damn good fun.
I remember an old CSS plugin that'd kill you if you repeatedly crouched over a corpse. :lovewcc:
I recall a CS:S server that hat an auto-ban script that did that. It would ban you if you crouched repeatedly over a corpse.
You have no idea how many people got themselves banned.
I suppose it depends on what you find fun in a game.
In my opinion it's simplicity is what makes it good. It is pretty basic, with a few decent game types. But so are the most popular FPS games out there.
It's a lot like a deathmatch version of counter strike, only a few weapons, a few basic game types, very basic tactical strategies required to win, but it's still fairly rewarding when you get a headshot or whatnot.
What games do you find fun?
Different strokes for different folks.
Eh, when I want to play a simple, fact paced, easy to play game, I load up Quake 2... not Halo. I mean, no matter what type of FPS you want to compare Halo to, it just doesn't match up against other games, even games that were out at the same time or before it.
The best players have others brag for them.
Good man, I like the way you think. Reminds of this one guy, from Day of Defeat. I was playing Avalanche (what a shitty, unbalanced map... yet everyone plays it like fucking Dust) and we (allies) were doing pretty bad. Then this guy Knife Master joins the game. Literally, THE GAME FUCKING TURNED AROUND. Guy would score several kills before dropping, and with a variety of weapons: thompson, colt, knife, grenades, enemy weapons, whatever. He would go on crazy killing sprees and cap flags like a motherfucker.
But yeah, you won't see any cool killing sprees like that, games of Halo feel stiff and slow by comparison. Makes me laugh at what Bungie used to say: "THIS GAME IS GOING TO BE THE TRIBES-KILLER!" Yeah, Halo compared to Starsiege: Tribes? Give me break.
Yeah, if you're 12.
No, thats if you like doing that shit. Teabagging is the biggest expression of stupidity I've seen in my entire life. Other than being an ignorant idiot. Hence why Halo's fanbase should burn. If that happened and the community got a TOTAL makeover, I may finally start playing halo online for large periods of time.
Sigh, I hate the screechy twelve year olds that make me fear online multiplayer.
The halo series actually didn't start that bad, it sorta declined
Halo CE - Awesome! This game was bloody awesome! Kickass!
Halo 2 - Still kickass! Sorta! Graphics are shit! Story got weird! XBOX live..... fuck.
Halo 3 - 10 minute campaign, most godawful multiplayer known to man, this is what turned the franchise in to utter shit, it is now the twelve year old douche spawning ground
also, it was 2007, and those graphics were shitty
Halo Wars - A shittily made RTS that was designed to be played by Cats
Halo ODST - A [del]new game[/del] Expansion pack for halo 3, with 2 new guns.
But it had Nathan Fillion and that redeemed it a little less shit than 3, Firefight is pretty fun actually
Halo Reach - Looks promising. Dont fucking disappoing me bungie. I can't take the pain anymore
:sigh:
You dissapoint me bungie
I used to be a diehard fan
I bought novels.
I BOUGHT NOVELS

ODST is better than the shit that is 3, it sucked less

people do it because seeing uppity nerds like you cry is entertaining
Halo: Reach does not support everybody's favorite way of humiliating their downed opponents in Halo: teabagging.

Bungie plans to fix it not for the sake of crouching but for teabagging
Guess Bungie's got it in the bag when it comes to multiplayer. xD
I thought ODST was quite good. The campaign was ten times better than Halo 3's, it came with a shitload of maps for free, and Firefight was pretty fun.
I love how this article totally skews the joke bungie was making and takes it seriously. So its cool to hate on one of the most popular console games ever...w/e
Let me guess, Halo will NEVER have prone
Is teabagging really still a thing? I thought that died ages ago. :geno:
