Look at things clinton got down in his first term when it was a democratic congress and compare it to how much he got done when the republican's took congress in '95
It's tougher, but it can actually be the catalyst from which a president can make stronger decisions because he has to be stronger to survive.
Because Obama can press a button and make a law right there on the spot.

I still think DADT repeal and ending the war are two pretty big deals
also not banning stem cell research
and the healthcare bill DID do some good, like making it so people can't be denied coverage based on pre-existing conditions
Not repealing the patriot act doesn't undo all of the good he did

In all serious you look at most of the two term presidents in Obama's situation and they had an equally rough time.

I do not love obama, nor do I hate him, I don't like everything he does. I do think he is a generally cool guy, but most of all I remind myself that if it were not him, it would have been Mccain. and Palin would be vice-president. and that would have been worse. and when it comes time for his second term I will most likely vote for him again unless the republicans can pull some pro out of their asses.
