Pretty lame of Valve to pull it because they didn't get the crappy DLC. Like who cares about DLC?

ITT: I don't understand how contracts work and I hate people who like Valve
Fixed* a contract was made and they did not keep to their contract, simple as that. Also wouldn't it be unfair to steam users if they kept it on and people bought it, then saw that there wasn't any DLC for them because they bought it on steam instead of somewhere else? It would be lame for Valve to keep it on, ripping off people who were going to buy DLC.

Apparently you don't know how valuable contracts are in the business world. If you can't follow contracts then you're not worthy of trust, meaning no one will make deals with you.
I'm not buying Battlefield 3 unless they bring it to Steam.
I remember having to use some bullshit program from EA that I had to install to play Battlefield 2142.
Never again. I can't trust a company that sucks that much dick.
When I say this boxes rain on me, when anyone else does, apparently not.
VERY INTERESTING.

You probably said it like this:
omg ffs ea fkn suks ill never get bf3 fukin fags origin sux

DeMartini clarified this point, saying, "To be very clear, except under extremely special circumstances we offer our games to every major download service including Amazon, Gamestop, and Steam." The one big exception on the horizon, of course, is Star Wars: The Old Republic, the digital version of which will only be sold through Origin.
Why does the fact that Star Wars: Old Republic being only on Origin doesn't surprise me?
I forgot about Crysis 2 moving off steam and looked for it on the steam store. Then I remembered, looked on Origin, and saw this:

EA isn't getting a dime til it's on steam. It was like $40 on steam.

What do you expect of a forum that was originally created for a mod of half life 2?

EIGHTY FUCKING DOLLARS? DOES IT COME WITH DLC?
EIGHTY FUCKING DOLLARS? DOES IT COME WITH DLC?
Nope.
It does come with caps though.
EA is the bad guy, EA is lying through their teeth, EA is greedy.
we knew this all already.
....Wait, because it was on other digitial distrubution sites and not on steam it was removed.
Why is the back of my head saying that they're doing this to actually even the playing field against Steam?

Well, we were sidetracked by Activision being a badder guy.

lets just say that 99% of large business are bad guys and we should all hate them for eternity.
The reason I figure it was pulled from the Steam store was because of that special service the EA guy mentioned. To buy the PC DLC for Crysis 2, you must buy it in game through its little own little store. I guess Steam never saw any of that money since it went directly to EA, and pulled the game for that reason. That would be my guess.

Soooo, both guys were being dicks. EA wanted more cash and Steam wanted said cash too...its like two mob families fighting.
From what I read the Steam version couldn't get the DLC directly through Steam while all the other services could, meaning Steam customers were getting shafted so they pulled it from the store.
Also, contracts.
Although the thing everyone is overlooking with this is that this has nothing to do with Origin, which was the original accusation.
