I really enjoyed the game. It was totally awesome that it wasn't as repetitive as AC1 which was go there and do this. Also I like where the story is going.
Finished it last night, and I gotta say Ass Creep: Bros in da hood was a fantastic game. The AC series in general is one of my great favorites. I just wonder how they're gonna surpass Ezio as the protagonist for AC3. Likeable, not lawful-stupid and pretty realistic. Had some genuine character development in AC2, although he grew a beard just right at the end which was kinda strange.
My main gripe about Bros in da hood: Romulus's armor doesn't look that cool. Altaïr's in AC2 was better.
Oh and the game is riduculously easy, you can take out like twenty guards in one execution combo without losing any health:

Okay actually now that I think again, a couple more faults:
It's really fucking easy.
Personally I found all indoors sections more interesting than the city. But AC2 Assassin Tombs were better than the Romulus Shrines or whatever of AssBro.
It's really fucking easy.
Crossbow is OP. Seriously. I killed half my targets with it. You can kill five guards with it (or the throwing knives or the smoke bomb + double hidden blade) before they reach you.
It's really fucking easy.
Fucking Rome is built on hills. You have to sidetrack quite a bit sometimes to find a way up.
The fifty timeskips right at the end. 1502-1503 spring-1503 summer-1503 winter-1507. Didn't feel very consistent.
It's really fucking easy.
Assassin Recruits seem to appear out of your ass. Seriously. They're omnipresent. Sneaked inside a play at the heavily guarded Colosseum? If you press the button you somehow teleport the recruits there and they kill everyone.
Oh, and it's really fucking easy.
More good parts: Special attacks, new execution / counterattack animations. Most satisfying thigs ever. You can use the hidden pistol while using your sword. You can use throwing knives while using the short blade (seriously use these to take out seven guards at once it's hilariously OP). Sometimes in the sword animations Ezio uses the pistol to finish off opponents, but doesn't use ammo.
You can't easily kill the heavily armored guys (Brutes?) by taking their weapon and then executing them. This time you gotta kick them in the balls and spam the attack button a bit.
There's a semblance of weapon balance. There's no "end-it-all" weapons that have better stats than everything else anymore.

Play it with a controller, slowly realize your right trigger is loosening like a cheap whore

Game in a nutshell right here.
Stop saying 'Wot' already!
I enjoyed the game, but I'm looking forward to the next time period now. I got bored of the renaissance a while ago.

If going forward in time, there isn't really much after the renaissance but Victorian England or the French Revolution, and in both of those guns are pretty prevalent
I personally hope they go backwards in time or something, but that's not likely

Wot is your problem mate?
They really need to up the difficulty of the games. Yes you are a pro assassin versus a mob of standard footsoldiers, but damn you chop through them like paper.
Perhaps a extreme mode where you can only take one or two hits would certainly make it more enjoyable for me. I find it too forgiving to miss combos or counters. If the game made it so you could only take a handful of hits I would certainly play more carefully and enjoy it more.

Oh god I can totally imagine doing a leap of faith from the Big Ben into a wagon full of crumpets and then a hand pops out to catch the top hat. Then a snazzy assassin with a monocle, tophat and a suit gets out and checks the time in his pocket watch. :v:

It NEEDS to have a cane sword. A cane gun would also be nice. Dual wielding canes?
Many people think the next AC is going to be in Egypt, I'd actually like that.
I think Lucy had said something about Templar radio stations in Russia and there has also been alot of rumors of the next game being in Russia, i think that would be cool
I want it to be eastern again, maybe in the Ottomans or in Persia/Asia
That or Russia around the Moscow area
Does anyone have the picture of Assassin's Creed: Soviet Russia?
Pretty beastin' picture I have to say
I'm still waiting for ACII to go on sale now that they have backtracked on the DRM a little bit.
Spell What right, RPS.

I'd say that, considering the current state of affairs surrounding Egypt, Ubisoft will probably want to steer clear of it. I mean, a lot of their research for Assassins Creed games involves going out to the countries, exploring, taking notes, stuff like that. It'd probably be easier to set it somewhere else.
Either that or we'll be in for a delay.

Well in the 1900's the largest Assassin influence was in Russia I believe, Lenin's brother was an Assassin.
The game is really, really good. I would recommend it to anyone.
Excited to play this.
After 6 hours of playing I certainly think it's a great game. I'm trying to take it semi-slow but every time I just get immersed in this massive world and play for hours. I've probably pumped about equal into the multiplayer, but it's relatively hard to find a match. I assume it's because I'm in North America, therefore no one else has it until later today, but it's so fun I can wait.
I finished it last night, one of the best games I have played in a long time.
It has a right mix of humor and action.
And it's fun as hell.
Although, has anyone seen the credits? Ubisoft put EVERYONE who works for Ubisoft in the credits, even guys in Bucharest or Singapore.
It made the credits longer then 15 minutes.

AC3 - 50% of the game as Lenin's brother, 50% as Desmond. heck yeah!

I watched all of the credits while slowly eating a sandwich. Time well spent :v:
I almost want them to stop posting these, just because of "Wot".

You don't have to read the threads, and keep it to yourself please.
I don't want to read how you think they should spell a word different "just because".

It's a great game, the gameplay just gets better and better with each instalment. Hopefully though the next game won't be about Ezio though.

Agreed, I really like Ezio. But he has to go if the series wants to progress.
