Wrong. If you compare COD and L4D2, you would see that the developers spent on time on singleplayer than multiplayer in COD. It always happens.
If they spent more time on multiplayer, we would get more wonderful COD mods. And the only COD game that even out is COD:UO. Best damn COD.
L4D2 Is going to have to something really good to sway me to pre order it over this.

Shame SP is the small portion, where as MP is the meat of the game. I hope the AI isn't as poor, or even if the game has AI, respawning hordes of nade spamming enemies that lose spawns points the closer you get is not what I call fun.

They said they're changing that, i fucking [b]HATED[/b] that in world at war. especially the fact since the ai was so crappy they made them spam nades if you were out of their site.

COD doesn't have a good community.
But L4D2 does. So more mods for L4D2 compared to COD.
