Republicans Outraged At Obama's Decision Not To Go To War With Iran; Want To Do It Themselves
Ron Paul would only splinter the Democrat's voter base.
I think Rick Perry is so generically Republican that he'll be a great candidate for Obama to win against.
There are far less Ron Paul supporters on the Democratic side than on the Republican side. If anything his candidacy would split the Republican voter base.
The writer of that isn't serious is he?
Please tell me he's joking.
Who cares, it's some blog post from 5 years ago.
I hate Iran's government as much as the next guy but this is just ridiculous.
If a NATO country starts a war the other countries aren't obliged to join right? Cause I know if a NATO country is being attacked, the others must join and help.
Just asking because if USA somehow starts being retarded again and declares war on Iran I would be pretty pissed if my country would have to help America in that war.
If NATO unanimously agree to it (see Libya, Afghanistan (I think, I am not 100% on NATOs involvement), Kosovo etc) then members would be required to assist. If the US (or anyone) just decided to invade Iran then they are on their own unless countries side with them.
If a NATO country gets attacked any member can retaliate as if they were being attacked themselves and be okay under international law.
So NATO countries are safe should someone decide to invade Iran, unless of course they do it the "proper" way and get international help.
America would be some much better of without the Republicans.

Having other points of view is nice, but not in the case of these Republicans, who are stupid, selfish, crazy, or any combination of the three.

Is it trying to say Iran is powerful?

Haha, nice.
Nice co-option there
Why do Americans give any fucks about the middle east?
Why do Americans give any fucks about the middle east?
Politicians.
You know what? I think this shit has got out of hand. If Barack Obama doesnt beat these Republicans, America will be pretty much destroyed. If we get into another big war, our debt crisis is going to break our fucking backs! Jesus Christ! Why cant the GOP realize we cannot be the world police all the time.
The whole state of things makes me want to laugh.

Year 2014 - President Mitt Romney declares America will be the first superpower to land a man on the surface of the sun.
These guys are fucking idiots. How can you call yourself a conservative if you want to go around Congress to start a war? That's setting a new precedent in direct violation of the Constitution. That is not being 'conservative' in any sense of the word.
Is it trying to say Iran is powerful?
To me it looks like America telling the world to fuck off and mind themselves, all the while they're doing nothing but minding everyone else's business. You know, the usual American double standard that seems to be the root of their culture and all of their international and internal problems, disagreements and state-economy crashes. THAT and crazy theocrats at the rudder is driving it all into the ground.
Or it could just be Iran hissing at the world while poking their nukes at something. Who knows.
But would you look at that? It's "christian" rednecks who want a theocratic state based on the old testaments myths and rules, bashing a theocratic state over the head with the bible they, themselves do not comprehend, for being a theocratic state and for possibly harbouring a bunch of fanatics gone almost as haywire as themselves. The hypocrisy is so...
The international interactions of America vs Middle-East never cease to amaze me. If the Middle-East conformed to human rights i could easily see the world gang-bullying America for being in such a shit state.
All in the name of corporate greed and civil exploitation by politicians. Gawd bless dat 'murica. All made possible by the ton of holes in the declaration that no one wants to update so to speak.

Did he just advocate killing civilians? First honest president? Dohohoho
But seriously, the US needs to start reeling it's neck back in. No matter how much the candidates and it's supporters wish the middle east could be rendered "civilised" by invasion.

Well, technically it would be 'neoconservative.'

Honestly I'd rather have a single party state under the Democrats than have the Republicans around trying to tear the world apart at every opportunity.

Because we like the oil they have to power our fancy massive cars...which sadly we haven't found a way to run on hopes and dreams yet.
I can't believe anyone supports going to war with Iran. That would be a massive cluster fuck. Iraq didn't have an Army to fight against, and had a pretty divided populace in terms of ethnic backgrounds, and people who were pretty oppressed. They gave us a hell of a fight in terms of groups coming in from other countries to fight.
The Taliban in Afghanistan didn't have much of an army either, and they fought hard. Then we ignored Afghanistan to go dick around in Iraq and suddenly we're back almost to square one with them stepping up attacks again.
So now we want to ignore Afghanistan again, and focus on fighting a nation with a pretty strong military in terms of Middle-East nations, with a leader who's not afraid to step up when he gets threatened by people, because i'm pretty sure he's ass-fucking-crazy.
Good idea Republican leaders...i award you all the internets, and about 10 high fives redeemable at your discretion...

My favorite part will be hearing through my mom how Fox news says this war would be awesome, but any war Obama is currently in is wasting money.
Obama doesn't want WW3, THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!
What the fuck is wrong with out country? I swear that almost any facepuncher would make a better president then these fucks.

Glaber for president 2011.

Alright maybe not all facepunchers.
What happened to the Democrats anyway? Apart from Obama I hear from no other Presidential Candidate.
I'll just leave this here.

Thank you Obama. Now I don't have to figure out a way to smuggle my relatives out of Iran before the Republicans will take a shit on it.

That's a great article. Thanks for posting it!
Let Iran make their nukes, only way I could see us attacking them was if they had the capabilities to launch those nukes at North America or Europe, otherwise let Isreal and Iran blow eachother up, two problems solved.
After a decade of continuous, unending war, how can the Republican party possibly still be warmongering?
Nevermind that they're advocating for massive new wars and the spending that comes with them while bleating about how the country is going so broke that we need to repeal Medicare and Social Security.
From the article it seems as though two are in favor and two oppose. The other candidates didn't get much air time. Many Republicans are pushing for the war of course, but a good deal are only pushing for sanctions, which as far as I'm aware Democrats are doing that as well. I hope Obama stands by negotiation as opposed to war, it is the only sensible position. Not because a war in general is a bad idea, but more because a war with Iran would just not work out on so many levels.
