I can imagine AIs having the entire legal system in memory, so you'd either be definitely guilty or innocent. However, we should still use juries to determine final guilt or innocence since some laws are stupid.

Imagine the vast majority of cases, where details are contested, or evidence may not be the most compelling?
How do you program what 'reasonable' is?
