GAME Will Not Be Stocking Mass Effect 3 (Or Any Other New EA Games) - Polidicks

Does this mean that pre orders that people have already made have been cancelled?

The animations, voice acting and writing felt just well... Bad and felt really cheap. I enjoyed Mass Effect 1 and some of 2 but the demo just felt like Mass Effect 2: Now with more explosions and a random kid to make the game seem like its depressing and edgy. Either way it felt like the game was steered WAY more by money than passion. The fact that EA have put so much into its marketing campaign (from petitions to the UK about Aliens to weather-balloons in space) I mean some of the dialogue Shepard makes when he talks to the Alliance sounds like a Sci-Fi parody

My local Game doesn't even have a PC section.

It's not really games fault, all they are trying to do is save money. My brother told me they use to get shitloads of boxes full of new releases in and they'd only ever sell half of them, and then the other boxes would have to go back because nobody would buy the left overs and the company lost money. GAME told EA they wanted to buy a certain ammount, just enough for the pre-orders and a little extra buy EA basiclly said "No we want you to sell THIS many" so GAME had to make a tough decision and decided not to stock the game. Obviously this wasn't the best decision as they will still lose money from not selling the game, but they are trying to show they won't be bossed around.

My local GAME is closing down soon too, they are financially committing suicide.

Of course GAME won't stock new games, it needs that precious shelfspace for its used games!

As much as this fucks everything up for everyone, I'm glad GAME stopped stocking ME3 and broke off their exclusivity deal. That way I managed to preorder a copy at amazon, who unlike GAME, ships to my country! Hooray! Sucks for you guys though
