So why the hell is an ex-Soviet country is freer than "the land of the free"?

Because our leaders are less corrupt.
I don't understand why the US government tries to force anti-piracy so much.
Maybe there wouldn't be that much piracy if you wouldn't keep using terrible methods.
Because the MPAA and friends have significant control of the US Government.
America, don't rape Estonia. It has a cool flag.
It looks like they mailed one letter around the world and just changed the country names
Dammit, get outta my internets!
This really CAN'T pass: Estonia is an extremely Open Internet/IT-focused country. There's no telling the order of magnitude of shit this would bring.
...I wonder what the east is doing about all this?...
Well, what else is there to do?
Force them out of positions of power, what are they going to do against tens of millions of pissed off people? Most of our military would side with us, but it would probably never happen unfortunately.

No one is willing to make the first strike and spark a revolution because the first ones are usually the martyrs...
I want to tell the USA..
to politely go, and fuck itself.
For the first time ever I say - fuck off, America.

I think part of the problem is that the gap between liberals and conservatives is so huge that even on a civil level, nobody can or will agree with what the other side has to say. A revolution is an extremely political event, but how can you have something like that when both sides hate each other infinitely more than the men they're supposed to be fighting?

Haha you're fucked Randy
America, don't rape Estonia. It has a cool flag.
Estonia has the best flag in the world imo.
It's like the US government WANTS Europe to hate them.

I thought Europe already did :v:.
I thought Europe already did :v:.
Maybe a general dislike, but nowhere close to hating. But it'll change if your government will continue fucking around with our affairs like we're some sort of toys for them.
Wow two countries engaging in diplomatic relations. How riveting.

If you all are toys, I really dont want to know what makes us. I already hate every facet of our government.
The entire American political system should just be changed.
But good luck getting that changed though.

its nearly impossible without tons and tons of money.
China, save us! :v:
Piss off US, we don't need nor want you here.

So would you favor changing every Western democracy as well?
So would you favor changing every Western democracy as well?
Western democracys don't have a system like America: the closest to America is France really.
A lot of Western democracys have a 'Westminster' style government with a parliament, Prime minister and no written constitution.

Two party system is not real democracy.
Imagine USSR with two party system:
You can either vote Peoples Communistic Party or Workers Socialistic Party.
Doesn't make sense ? :v:
This is the issue with having the rest of the world as your ally.
Estonia can honestly say "fuck off, We don't need another country to say what to do", in fact any country could say that. The problem is that if you do, you severely damage political relations which can migrate from the US screaming "THERE IS A PLACE ACROSS THE OCEAN WHICH SUPPORTS PIRACY! WAWAWAWA! ;_;" to their local friends in the EU who then give Estonia the cold shoulder in the form of sanctions and restrictions.
Of course, the EU could say that they won't get involved because they have no outstanding problems with Estonia but the states would just respond back with "Well, I don't like you either. :P"
nope i will ignore said law and continue to be a greedy pirate
I will just say here that American people are amongst the most friendly, down-to-earth in the world.
But the governments that you guys elect are complete jerks.
(The whole AMERICA SUX thing is directed at the government not at the people - normally)

I'm not speaking of exact replicas of our system of government but rather the ideas written down into the US Constitution that influenced a lot of other Western countries. Of course there are deviations from our system, like a parliamentary republic or constitutional monarchy, but the general style is the same. Such as a legislative body, or head of state. Granted the founding fathers were heavily influenced by Enlightenment thinkers, but the point remains, calling for the complete change of an entire political system, when it matches many other countries is dumb.

The two party system is a real democracy whether you believe it or not. It does have drawbacks, but also advantages. If the US had a multi-party system, I don't believe the outcome of our laws be drastically different.

And this is what I don't understand. Nowhere in that letter did it call for sanctions or threats or anything of that nature. You guys are acting like the US is saying "ACCEPT THIS PIRACY LAW OR WE WILL MAKE YOUR COUNTRY A CRATER." The US is not screaming, or acting like a child. What I get from these reports is that delegates are pushing and pulling like they have done since the beginning of these international relations. All countries want a little more for their own places and give a little less. It's like diplomacy is some new fangled concept and when countries try to talk about an issue like global piracy, and not just the digital form but also counterfeit goods, it's suddenly a big issue. That reaction is bizarre to me.

First time ever?
I find that hard to believe.
