Oh well could be worse, it could be a franchise I actually like.
you don't like nerf? you obviously have a void for a heart
MLP in the next kingdom hearts game? I would literally crash a plane into disney's international HQ
i think it would be pretty funny to see two awful fandoms collide to be fair "yes sora insert your hard blade into my horse keyhole"
Yeah, I mean I don't like the horse show or the rabid members of its fanbase either but my first thought was "what's going to happen to Nerf?"
nerf keyblades, nerf lightsabers, nerf captain america sheilds? actually some of those could be neat my sister and brother played kingdom hearts years ago, seemed ok actually, keyblade designs were kinda cool sometimes
MLP in the next kingdom hearts game? I would literally crash a plane into disney's international HQ
as well as star wars and marvel super heros also transformers [editline]5th November 2012[/editline] transformer pony with lightpenis porn
star wars and marvel worlds would be kinda cool
i think it would be pretty funny to see two awful fandoms collide to be fair "yes sora insert your hard blade into my horse keyhole"
I don't think there's really anything you can mix into Kingdom hearts that would make it any harder to take seriously than it already is.
MLP in the next kingdom hearts game? I would literally crash a plane into disney's international HQ
actually that wouldn't be so bad. The MLP world has some pretty cool things that could work in Kingdom Hearts... like changelings, and dark gods, and also the land of the dead (mentioned) Now, people who are bitching about ponies. Season 3 (the one that's about to start) is supposedly the LAST season. From what I can see, "bronies" don't really care because fanon has drifted so far away from canon that it doesn't even matter anymore.
MLP in the next kingdom hearts game? I would literally crash a plane into disney's international HQ
So you would be willing to murder thousands of people over a show about ponies? [editline]5th November 2012[/editline]
Now, people who are bitching about ponies. Season 3 (the one that's about to start) is supposedly the LAST season.
Hasbro has confirmed that it isn't the last season. They just want to do shorter seasons so they don't have to more money in.
So you would be willing to murder thousands of people over a show about ponies?
I think it's less likely Wealth + Taste actually intends to be a suicide bomber, and more likely that he doesn't know how to use the word "literally".
Is disney turning into a devouring sentient entity that consumes all things in it's path?
Is disney turning into a devouring sentient entity that consumes all things in it's path?
yes. I hope that answered your question. EDIT: I should also add, that no, I don't think they're going on a huge buying spree. I hope they do a good job with Star Wars, since Disney is generally good with live action films when they're not trying to make comedies. and if they do get Hasbro, I doubt they'll ruin or mess up anything. though they'll probably have a terrible reference in one of their live action shows.
I don't mind this. Disney and Hasbro already has an agreement that's tightly nit. I mean, Disney needs Hasbro for Mister Potato Head, which is a quite known character in Toy Story. All I see if Disney buys Hasbro is everything going normally and Disney making more merchandise through Hasbro, nothing bad at all. Maybe a pony reference here and there to appease the fans, and maybe doing other things. They won't run anything to the ground, because then, that would be bad for all.
No, Disney, it is not enough to merely kill it's body. To truly kill off The MLP, you must destroy it's soul. Simply cancel it, it and it will become a martyr, but turn away the most zealous of fans in disgust with crossovers with your sitcoms and music by your teenpop bands, and then you will have achieved victory.
The ultra-diehard fans are the least worthy of giving a shit about because they've been shunned from nearly every community that isn't complete garbage. The fans you don't like are people you probably wouldn't like regardless of what they were fans of.
I can care less if MLP was part of Hasbro. That still doesn't make it ok for Disney to buy it. Disney's kinda becoming that bad-dream where a huge corporation buys off every corporation that has to do with everything you like and ruins everything.
oh god, imagine a Disney D&D.
Disney can keep their hands off Transformers, that's my childhood! Although if they're going to fuck with the ponies, they can go ahead and be my guest.
Does like half of facepunch have some sort of permanent affixation to their hatred for a children's cartoon that shouldn't concern them? Like seriously, hardcore fans of the show who go around and actually say everypony instead of everybody annoy me less than people who try to turn any thread that has even the most remote possible connection to MLP into a MLP hatewagon.

I do hate the culture of perverted freaks that sexualize a children's cartoon (which, much like furries, tends to be a vast majority of the cult identity).
oh no our precious childhoods will be forever ruined
Someone got their DnD in my Micky Mouse. Now Micky has to rescue Minny from a Grue.

breaking news disney buys the US government.
Honestly, we'll see a LOT of articles like this coming up soon. Disney is a rich company who weathered the recent economic shite without much of a net profit loss. However, many, many companies which have many different IP's names under their belts have shown that they'll die soon, be too poor to continue, are looking for new leadership and new money, or have already died and have IP that is available for sale, or comes with the company. This isn't neccesarily a bad thing because Disney has a high standard of quality for a lot of it's work, but this isn't a good thing to me at all because as a friend/teacher of mine, a director of many disney TV shows over the years, told me once, the book of regulations that they hand you is about the size of the first 5 harry potter books in hardcover stacked on top of each other. This is frankly incredible, because that's just for a TV show. The lawyers and PR team and the very essence of Disney is so centered around a specific brand and image(Fair enough) that they control anything and everything they put out and have incredibly specific ideas on what's right and wrong in almost every situation. This being said, Disney owns a lot of companys from a distance, through proxies or even directly in some cases(Touchstone Pictures for instance) that have some freedom comparatively but still quite restricted in comparison to say, New Line Cinema or another large film producer. And Disney has their hands in video games too, and they have a plan for each and every company they acquire, and they're going to acquire a lot soon I'm guessing.
This idea floating around that Disney automatically shits on everything is getting stupid.
They don't automatically but they have a VERY specific level of what's right and what's not for them that offends many viewers who don't want what is essentially self censored material. They do try and get away from that but they really don't do it so well.
breaking news disney buys the US government.
I'm not sure how terribly breaking that news would be; Disney already has a pet project where it gets our copyright laws revised whenever Steamboat Willie comes close to entering public domain and all.
What if Disney tries to buy Hasbro, but Hasbro says "no"?
What if Disney tries to buy Hasbro, but Hasbro says "no"?
investor coup.
