His punishment obviously had no effect if he's taunting the mother of the girl he raped. I'm not saying he deserved being burned to death, but he sure as hell deserved more than what the justice system gave him.
Do you have any idea how long nine years is in a prison?
His punishment obviously had no effect if he's taunting the mother of the girl he raped.
a mentally unstable person who undergoes probable psychosis isn't reliable when it comes to recalling events. either way taunt shouldn't result in immolation followed by torture
hah
To be honest I probably would of done something of the sort if my daughter's rapist said a witty remark. I know it would be wrong, but your morals won't get in the way when you're dealing with something like this.
How many of you would honestly sit back as a man taunted you about raping your daughter. What are you fucking ghandi or buddha?
because if we got emotional and reacted with violence too that justifies it, right
The woman fled to Alicante, where she was arrested the same evening. When she appeared in court the next day in the town of Orihuela, she was cheered and clapped by a crowd, who shouted "Bravo!" and "Well done!"
Ahaha, yeah, good job, murderer!
Do you have any idea how long nine years is in a prison?
Not enough time to think about what he did was wrong.
If anything I think the best thing would be to give her some obvious mental help and maybe some sort of punishment that isn't too harsh. I would say let her off completely free if she did something like kick his ass real good but setting him ablaze.... ouch. That's worse than murder.
uh so?? that's the failure of Spain's jail system what kind of precedent does that set exactly?
Rape victims are scarred for their lifetimes. Having someone on the loose that definitely is hinting at raping another person or the same one again isn't something anyone wants. The justifiability of the mother's actions is questionable, though.
Do you have any idea how long nine years is in a prison?
About nine years unless the prison is moving real fast

IDK about this you guys like, honestly I can understand the concept of thinking its justified in killing this guy, but I mean this kinda shit is a little too far, there's a difference between quick and painless and drawn and terrible fucking burning death. Like I know that what he did was terrible, and he deserved something terrible to happen to him, but this is just a little fucking fucked up, but I don't really fucking care either way, but I just don't think its really that...good, you know, to be happy about this, I overall think it would be best to be neutral about this.
It's kinda hard to side with the rapist. I mean if he had gone to prison and come out and been remorseful or done something with his life maybe. But fucking taunting his victims mom? That's just dickish.
Not enough time to think about what you did was wrong.
how the hell do you know
Both the father and his daughter would like to express their sadness at the death of Soriano.
suuure.
About nine years unless the prison is moving real fast
I meant more 'can you imagine how long nine years in a prison actually is'.
hey guys just so you know, you're rating winner for a person getting killed for a crime he was already punished for i mean i know some people on facepunch get erections over violence, but this is grievous bodily harm resulting in 11 days of torture caused by burns, a crime at least as heinous as rape.
I think I'd rather be burned alive than having some guy's dick up my arsehole
so you're sayings that your "morals" don't actually mean anything to you and that you are prone to psychotic incidents of violence when you assume to hear something in your fragile mental state stay the fuck away from people thanks in advance
If it was something more serious than rape, I would be pretty angry. In other situations I would never revert to violence.
I think I'd rather be burned than having some guy's dick up my arsehole
good for you?
Do you have any idea how long nine years is in a prison?
yet he obviously still didn't regret what he did!
By Peter Upton in Alicante 12:01AM BST 26 Jun 2005 Uhh..
Fucking shit, right as we were in the middle of a debate. Oh well, a mod can lock it, and if anyone really wanted to continue the debate, we'll do so in MD.
What he did was horrible, but it certainly wasn't enough to justify death in one of the most excruciating manners possible.
yet he obviously still didn't regret what he did!
That should probably tell you that the prison system we have doesn't work, not that he needed more time in it or a harsher punishment.
:ninja:
uh so?? that's the failure of Spain's jail system what kind of precedent does that set exactly?
I doubt I'm the world's foremost expert on the subject but I'm sure Spain's jail system is fine. The issue is that some people are legitimately bad people that no amount of rehabilitation can fix. If he didn't learn his lesson, the punishment he got wasn't severe enough. I'm not saying he should have been burned to death, that's a death I wouldn't wish on anybody. She was right to retaliate, but she went way overboard.
Fucking shit, right as we were in the middle of a debate. Oh well, a mod can lock it, and if anyone really wanted to continue the debate, we'll do so in MD.
Should have noticed this sooner.
