Preach to someone who cares.
Why do we not want guns in the UK? Because everything works fine without them and we can trust the police to sort things out for us. I'd wager that a large portion of crimes in America would not happen or be less severe were it not for the levels of gun ownership there.
now back on topic, are the riots getting better or worse?
Haha, apparently Iran are spinning the story as the UK government oppressing rebels to their citizens.
Britain's throat in the claws of oppressed rebels
find out tonight they arnt going to riot in the day think about it.
now back on topic, are the riots getting better or worse?
Wait until tonight considering that they seem to disperse by the morning then come back in the evening.
I think we're past the worst, the main problem other than the actual riot in london and other cities was all the littles chavvies on edge all over the country, but if they're not rioting they're bored now so everyone has calmed down.
Haha, apparently Iran are spinning the story as the UK government oppressing rebels to their citizens.
Didnt they say that for the student protest too?
I don't think this is going to carry on. I would imagine that the rioters are starting to get bored
I hope so
I don't think this is going to carry on. I would imagine that the rioters are starting to get bored
I have to disagree...
See when things were at peace, they were bored. This is probably heaven for them.
well you know what they say about american humour
What's that?
That's what they say about it: "What's that?"
:v:

Libyan foreign ministry spokesman Khalid Ka'im has called on world governments to take action over the unrest in the UK. David Cameron has lost legitimacy and "must go", Libya's official news agency Jana reports. Libya "demands that the international community not stand with arms folded in the face of this gross aggression against the rights of the British people, who are demanding its right to rule its country", the report said.

What a retard.
Browsing reddit right now is amazing, it's almost like they have all the answers. They seem to be blaming the majority of the issues on the Police citing their oppression as the cause of all this, either that or it's all about race. These thirteen year old politicians have it all worked out eh? THANK GOD I WAS WORRIED THERE FOR A SECOND.
In all seriousness, I haven't been to London in years but here's to the quick resolution of the rioting.
Does anyone know if the EDL did anything?

The reason for it all is very simple:
There is a large unemployed, uneducated underclass who see no problem in stealing and destroying other people's property.
The rioting we're seeing at the moment is what they would do all the time if they could, and in a sense they do. It's just that now they're all doing it together.

right blame the unemployed and uneducated
nothing disgustingly snobby about that
but it's true

He/she's blaming an underclass who so happen to consist of uneducated and unemployed people that are taking advantage of the riots. Not saying that everyone who meets that criteria would be the one's rioting.
the rioting is the most callous and outward way of describing frustration and it's certainly not limited to the lower class.
the unemployed and uneducated cannot be summed up as people in such a stupid way and shows off how much you are unaware of what it is like to be unemployed and uneducated.
trust me, we would certainly not riot nor steal all the time if we could. such a thing would be tiring.

which is fantastically lazy because you aren't even taking the time to understand why anyone is angry, just going "nope they're underprivileged"
riots have been never ever been the individual lack of morals or education or anything like that. the fact that there are riots means that something went very very wrong. it's not these people's fault that there's high poverty and unemployment. the riots are a response and it would be a very stupid mistake to write off as simply unfounded violence by lower-class people.
right blame the unemployed and uneducated

I'm sure there are people in there with jobs and gcse's, but it is a fact that most of the people rioting are uneducated and unemployed. However, that doesn't mean that being uneducated or unemployed instantly makes you one of the idiots taking part. It's not snobby, it's simple observation.

it's not fucking observation you can't tell people are uneducated by how they look.
they aren't fucking taking surveys while throwing bricks into buildings are they

Have you seen any of the interviews with rioters? Even if they are formally educated. They are still idiots who don't know what they are talking about.
Uh, you do realise they're actually correct right?
What the hell do you expect people to do when the government cuts in public services and unemployment is high?
Or the growing gap between rich and poor?
30 years of tension with the police who quite frankly seems to have been doing fuck all to help the situation. (Before the riots).
This whole thing started on justly causes. The trigger for it is completely and utterly justifiable.
Now however it's simply criminal opportunism since it's not even about the economy but more about getting free shit in all the chaos.
England has the worst vertical social mobility of any first world country I've heard
I wouldn't know because I'm not socially mobile on the best of days

What is fantastically lazy is you not capitalizing your sentences ;).
There is no reason as to why everyone is angry. They WERE angry, the real people that wanted an answers, but these scum took advantage of the police's leniency of the rising tension and began to go and steal and destroy. They aren't even destroying anything of value to what they are "angry" at. They're just destroying local shops and residential buildings owned by their very own neighbors. They ARE uneducated scum and don't you tell me of my ignorance of what it's like to be that either. People that are educated would have the sense to not destroy the place in which they go to buy their food or even the place they live in for their own personal gain. That is what you aren't getting. We can all assume that these dumbfucks are uneducated based on their actions. Now for employment, I doubt that has anything to do with said riots seeing as people with a job or not would riot or not if they were dumb enough too.
Have you seen any of the interviews with rioters? Even if they are formally educated. They are still idiots who don't know what they are talking about.
yes because they also interviewed all the rioters and not the ones that would make a delightful story.
complacency is also idiocy in another respect, writing off the rioters as simple idiots would be a giant mistake.
one that i wouldn't not even put above the coalition.

oh that's a load of bullshit. there's a huge amount of reasons to be angry and the lower you go down the class chain the more they become.
in their situation you'd probably riot because you're a human and don't differ from them in any other aspect. in the end this is just a bunch of humans calling other humans scum.
but you're all scum, might as well get over how scummy you are and try to fix the problems so people aren't so scum in the future.
