Has anyone heard anything about Chesty? Haven't heard anything from him since August 1st.

Berlin, I think? Countless amounts of pure history lost to some cunts with matches.
The upside of these riots is getting to hear Americans and to a lesser extent other people pronounce Birmingham Berrrr-ming-HAM
I've always pronounced it: Bur-meng-hem Is that right?
I've always pronounced it: Bur-meng-hem Is that right?
depends on your accent i don't think there's a particularly correct way to say it
depends on your accent i don't think there's a particularly correct way to say it
In the South-Eastern US States people heavily draw it out making the last part "Ham" sound like its own word.
Britain has the shittiest youth in the world.
The rioters don't represent our entire youth.
so is this over now?
Bern-ing-hum
Hello Rioters. Look at your friend, now back to me. Now at your friend, now back to me. Sadly, he isn't me, but if he stopped using bombs and started using job centre he could potentially be me. Look down, back up. Where are we? You're at an interview with the man your friend could work for. What's in your hand? Back at me. I have it. It's an application form to that job you need. Look again. The form is now money. Anything is possible when you get a job & stop looting. I'm on a horse. It's pronounced Berm-ing-um where I live.
c i wuz riotin' cus of da polcie n ting innit
bumbaclut.
Britain has the shittiest youth in the world.
Not really. The people in my 6th form (17-19) were pretty much all ok people. The people who I was friends with were certainly ok people. There are quite a few chavs, more so in cities, but they don't represent the youth of the country. I have to say though, the drinking culture at university is pretty sad. I kind of wish it was more like other areas in europe where getting drunk is not a staple part of a good time.
Britain has the shittiest youth in the world.
wattin' a chib?
bumbaclut.
All da blud's in da hud usin' da rasclat gat on babylon seen?
Bern-ing-hum
I'd say Ber-ming-um. There's no hint of an H sound in it where I come from. My favourite is Gloucestershire. I've yet to find an American that isn't amazed that it's pronounced Golst-a-sher. The rule-of-thumb with English place names is that generally -shire is pronounced -sher (or -sheer depending on where you're from) and -ham has the h dropped.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloucester Well, it's a town in Gloucestershire [editline]11th August 2011[/editline]
I'd say Ber-ming-um. Agreed, shire=sheer Gloss-tuh-sheer Also I don't think I've ever said birmingham without putting on a fake accent so I can't help you there!
How would people here pronounce "Southwark"? :v:
How would people here pronounce "Southwark"? :v:
We say sudh-ərk. [editline]11th August 2011[/editline] http://translate.google.com/#auto|en|southwark Click listen.
I heard that they are thinking of closing down twitter and stuff if this happens again, is that even possible? Is'nt that like again the freedom of speech?
How would people here pronounce "Southwark"? :v:
Suth-Uk.

The was no riots because of bad weather, and there was an increased Police presence, they are now scared that once the police leave, the riots will start again
