I wonder if this will slightly affect David Cameron's day again
I hope this doesn't spread to liverpool otherwise I am so fucked
semi confirmed by FP members and twitter hastag #liverpoolriots No official confirmation though, unless we go on Sky News bu apparently some of their fooatge is a bit dodgy.
"Merseyside Police confirm they are dealing with a number of incidents in South Liverpool, including cars being set alight. Members of the public have been advised to avoid Smithdown Road, Lodge Lane and Upper Parliament Street. In a statement, Merseyside Police's Andy Ward said: "Officer have tonight dealt with a small number of incidents of violence across the city. We will not tolerate any violence on the streets of Liverpool and have taken swift and robust action in response." From the BBC's live feed if you wanted an official source.
Found this on facebook, someone who works for currys got arrested for looting currys while wearing her currys uniform.
Soldiers are not trained to be cops. They are trained to kill people, and that's what will happen if they are sent to london.
If they don't have enough police to deal with the riots what other choice do they have? Let them steal anything and everything?
BBC have gone away from rolling news to do a planned program.
I hope this doesn't spread to liverpool otherwise I am so fucked
I wouldn't look at the last few pages if I were you.
I hope this doesn't spread to liverpool otherwise I am so fucked
Sorry if I'm late to post this, http://www.facebook.com/TeamDMG (a picture inside) One of the clan members from that is in liverpool and he seems to be a dick. Hope you're fine. Edit: Yup I'm late.
The BBC have stopped their live coverage but Sky news are still reporting.
Have they used water cannons yet cause, y'know, two birds one stone.
Only just joined the thread and haven't caught up on earlier posts, but this map is interesting/scary: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?msid=207192798388318292131.0004aa01af6748773e8f7&msa=0&ll=51.558503,-0.055275&spn=0.114195,0.298691 Plotted points of all confirmed riots over the past days.
Well as long as it stays on that side of the river, hopefully the dumb chavs round here won't bother.
You're over the River Mersey? Where about?
Have they used water cannons yet cause, y'know, two birds one stone.
Some of the fire are too intense even for the fire brigade. The best they can do is try to stop them spreading.
Have they used water cannons yet cause, y'know, two birds one stone.
They aren't legal ( Or existant ) on mainland England, but there are a number in Northern Ireland.
Well as long as it stays on that side of the river, hopefully the dumb chavs round here won't bother.
Where about are you? I'm in Bootle.
Dunno if anyone has posted this but you can watch it uninterrupted online, it's purely focussed on the riots no weather crap. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14449675
Why the fuck is Finsbury park so quiet? it was the one place where i would expect a major riot to happen. It's just getting more and more tense here.
Have they used water cannons yet cause, y'know, two birds one stone.
Not used in England. There's a massive fire in enfield, it's a sony warehouse. http://www.steven-kelly.co.uk/photography-blog/london-riots-huge-fire-in-enfield-direction The government are not going to take this seriously until someone is killed.
They aren't legal ( Or existant ) on mainland England, but there are a number in Northern Ireland.
How many would you wager there are?
They aren't legal ( Or existant ) on mainland England, but there are a number in Northern Ireland.
Really? No wonder this is getting out of hand, the cops aren't equipped for this. They might as well just go home and defend their own homes.
Soldiers are not trained to be cops. They are trained to kill people, and that's what will happen if they are sent to london.
I'm surprised at you killoch0, there are public order units in the British Army, they were used in the north a lot during the troubles, I'm guessing they still have them. I think it's time they actually used them on there own people for once.
Even the birds are joining in

"CAUGHT ON CAMERA - BLACK PEOPLE LOOTING SHOPS" Uhm...
Wallasey, not the shittiest place around but we get the tards from birkenhead coming over sometimes
I'm from Birkenhead... :smith: Well, Prenton to be exact.
