Well majority is immigrants as you can see, shouldn't they be doing something better? Like integrating with the society? Not looting and burning it up?
Most of the people in these areas are not immigrants, they are British born British citizens.
They're behind it.
If you notice, it really only has an effect at the people that it's pointing at directly. You can see in the video when the truck gets close to the guy with the camera, the cop points it at him and you can hear it get a whole lot louder, then he runs away.
Yeah it's directional audio, only the people it's pointed at can hear it.
Not all of us are like this.
I understand that, I'm sure the majority of Sweden are very open minded, but so far two Swedes have come into this thread, criticized our police and tried to spin this based on race.

The majority is not immigrants at all, I haven't seen any immigrants. Do you think black people are immigrants or something?
BBC are back to covering this, might be just to fill the gap in the BBC world news coverage when its gone to ads.

I would say most are british born, the UK is a very racially diverse country at this stage
BBC just said a railway stations on fire in Birmingham?

I've been watching it here for ages http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14449675

I hate seeing how damned cocky the rioters get; provoking and acting tough.
Then it will blow across the Atlantic and attack the US and Canada causing major riots.
The issue with that theory is our police aren't pussies, they'll deploy tear gas and pull up in unmarked minivans and take people away. That, and the people here won't take it, especially in the states, you'd hear of a lot more shootings due to property damage if this had happened in the States, because down there defending your property is a reason to use a firearm. That would have also scared the rioters, who while being able to own guns, tend to not bring them to riots, and kept the riots from spreading too far because of the people in the area who'd shoot any shithead with a molotov in their neighbourhood the second they set foot on their property or threw it at something they owned.
Fires are in North Croydon now (furniture store was in the South).
BBC chopper is back up, I assume it was refuelling and changing the people on it.
Anything in Manchester?

That's disgusting. What would happen if they stood their ground though? Would it be like when a dog chases you and once you stop it doesn't know what to do and so just kind of gives up.
Christ, look at those houses on the BBC
It just seems like the police are powerless to stop this

don't be so sure http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Keith_Blakelock
Apparently the bullring is being attacked in Birmingham.
Ah the BBC news channel and BBC world news have split, and they are streaming non geo locked BBC news (non world).

The cops would most likely get beaten up. Even with the proper protection you can't fend of an enormous group of people. Especially not when there's like 10 of them.
wait im bad at geography

If they are so smart they better send in vikings.

These buildings aren't exactly new, its shocking really.
Yeah it's crazy.

Might have been another shopping centre, I wasn't paying that much attention. I only heard Birmingham and shopping centre so I assumed the Bullring as I heard that a bit earlier.
At least we'll have stock footage of riots that isn't from the 80's.
1700 officers apparently on the streets right now, not really that much when you think about how spread out they are.
Also does anyone have a link to that Google maps thing that was linked to a few pages ago?
stole me a bag of rice innit

All the nice things in Croydon go down in flames, I enjoyed hanging out in Croydon, for shopping or just to spend some time, many street musicians too.
