Good man, now watch them come back for revenge...
Why should i be scared of getting beaten up, i can defend myself. Its when people idly stand by, that really annoys me, see it all the time on buses, people getting harassed and i step in. i have had many a bruise and cut, but its necessary to get them to fuck off. And these looters fucking disgust me. they have no right. I am shitting adrenaline at the moment however.
Good man, now watch them come back for revenge...
That will probably happen.
Why should i be scared of getting beaten up, i can defend myself.
Didn't say you couldn't, just be wary <3
I have a friend who works right near Croydon and he's actually afraid to go to work because of these idiots, now my friend is 6ft and well built and he's scared of going to a job he's done for so long because of these people, they really don't know how many people they're effecting and for what?

If you freezeframe one of the riot clips that the BBC show after the short breaks, they're sticking subliminal messaging in them promoting shows, sneaky bastards.

Anyone else notice this?
Late.
This is all going too quickly that most of it is late anyway, so it doesn't matter.

Two feeds being merged by the looks of it. BBC2 is showing rolling news at the moment and it shows proper TV adverts in the breaks whereas BBC news shows filler sometimes.
This entire thing is just pretty inredible to watch. Honestly never expected to see London in this way outside of a film or game. Hope everyone is ok :(

Okay, sorry for making a deal out of it xD It's 4am and I was hyped up about it.
well they are not back, I'm off to sleep. If I'm dead in the morning il be sure to tell you.
are most of the people rioting black?
How do riots start anyway? Like is everyone outside when they hear bad news and just go ape shit? Or do they plan it on Facebook?
BBC news is off for a half hour

They plan it.

Riots usually stem from peaceful protests planned in advance on Facebook (or in the old days through flyers etc) or from other large turnout events like Canada losing that hockey game.
There's been a lot of talk of BBM being used in these riots to coordinate stuff.

Starting to become more like the L.A riots.
They plan on Black Berry Messenger because it's easier to use and costs nothing to text someone.
It'll probably die down now that its the early morning and people will be getting tired.
If it starts again tommorow then they should just get some soldiers on the street.
You can bet the mere sight of soldiers will be enough to make them run away.

I get the feeling this may be a eye in the storm
Significant police operation happening in Ealing apparently.
The BBC presenter just basically told the Guardian journalist (Paul Lewis) to get there.
What happened with this?
