Really reminds me of children of men. Also, now I'll be laughing at all the people saying fuck the police. You would be fucking killed if not for them.
so all of this is because the police shot someone (who maybe fired on them first?) i'm confused
There was a protest about it at the start, but the people who escalated and continue to prolong it have no interest in Mark Duggan, in fact his family and friends have formally stated that the rioters are "fucking cunts"
Now it is just opportunism from people who want free shit
wow
I have some friends in the UK. I hope this doesn't spread too far.
Who the hell is, I would go as far as to say brainwashing the teens there?
:tinfoil:
So at the moment the government's plan is roughly 'let's do exactly the same thing'. I really hope this COBRA meeting actually results in something useful.
If only

well my girlfriends dad is getting a load of money today, he's out fitting windows for the mailbox in birmingham and numerous other shops.
Also, you guys should be glad. India also had a riot.

I like the wicker riot shields, that's a nice touch.
Also, China. Cool use of the turtle formation.

Water bottles, hahaha.
They should just deport everyone involved in these riots, seriously these people are scum of the earth.

While I agree that many of them are pretty bad, making them someone else's problem is a bad idea.

Yes that's a genius idea, deport British nationals.
Exactly, also a good idea because it will be really easy to find a country which is short on vandals and could really do with some more.
Yes that's a genius idea, deport British nationals.
Scumbag chavs who don't do anything productive which contributes towards society. They don't deserve to be classed as a 'British national'.

I live literally fifteen minutes away from here - clapham junction. It is really fucked when you see somewhere you are often getting fucked up. You would never expect it to happen in such a heavily policed capital but I guess this was all waiting to happen. The people involved are literally the scum of the earth and I believe the police should just cut the shit and use the force necessary to teach these fuckers a lesson, I'm tired of feeling unsafe in my own neighborhood.
Woke up to smoke outside my window today...in Waltham Abbey. Shit is out of control and spreading out of control, liverpool, bristol, birmingham. What the fuck is wrong with people?
Driving into work today and drove past Enfield industrial park to see HUGE plumes of smoke from miles away, get to and drive past factories completely burnt down and caved in.
Madness.
Last nights reports were DISGUSTING. An old lady was on the phone terrified to BBC reporters at one point, distraught over how she woke up to her front door kicked in and men dressed in black in her bedroom.
Whats happened so far? I've just woke up.

Riots have spread, more looting and fires.
If this were for a just cause, Then you would all condone it. If this were in syria, Or in iran, You would condone it. Media portrays rioters in a western world like they are evil. Media portrays them in the east, China, Arab nations, as the coming of faith.
Also, I guess they forgot to lower taxes before taking too many troops out of the capital.

Since 2-3am, nothing particulary new. Cameron's supposed to making a speech in half an hour, and the England vs Holland football match has been cancelled.

How in the fuck is this related. If it was in countries like that it would be just, over here its chavs and tards doing it for free shit.
They have gone to far this time.

At least the cricket's still on.
Also, Iran is being Iran:
"Iran called for London police to exercise self-restraint in dealing with protesters in Tottenham, north of London. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast referred to Saturday night's massive protests in Tottenham, which came following [the killing] of a young black man by Scotland Yard police and called for the UK government to avoid any police's harsh treatment with protesters. He stressed return of peace and calm to London through talks and examining demands of the demonstrators. Mehmanparast expressed hope independent human rights bodies would take measures to make clear facts behind murder of the black man soon."
Oh the irony...
EDIT: The Ghana vs Nigeria match in Watford is still on as well.

Have they said Cameron is to be talking in half an hour or is that just your assumption based on the Cobra meeting taking place?

BBC News 24 said he'd be making a speech at about 10:30 a little while ago.
Oh yeah I see it on the live update thing now. Ten minutes!
The police are crap in this country, it takes five of them to take a single person down because of 'human rights' which stops the police from smashing the idiots down with a baton. They need to show more power.
