HEEEEREE'S MY BROOM
I hope these riots make the government step up security in the future, and maybe allow us to defend ourselves against these kinds of attacks.
Any link to boris's speach?
BREAKING NEWS In the last hour several shop windows have been smashed in West Bromwich. Up to 200 youths in hoodies have been seen on the streets and police have now pushed the crowd to one side.

okay mofos, will make my way out in a hooded jacket. hopefully noone will get me. :ohdear:
Bring back decent policing laws, not these soft ones.
I'm surprised to see people starting stuff this early. Tonight might be bad afterall...
I just had to go to B&Q quickly, in a place which according to various social networks is completely evacuated because of riots, what a load of shit LOL.
Its a lovely warm quiet day (mainly because everything is shut, and B&Q is boarded up and there's a couple of unmarked police cars sitting around).
There is some load of shit going around the internet lately.
Even the birds are at it!
Any persons convicted of criminal acts during the current London riots should have all financial benefits removed. No tax payer should have to contribute to those who have destroyed property, stolen from their community and shown a disregard for the country that provides for them.
Found this
Just signed it.
It's unlikely it will have an effect, but if nobody signs it then it's certain to have no effect.

the fact that it ruins away quickly makes it even better.

Doing that will just cause more riots.
wait is it already starting?
oh boy.

If by an effect you mean create more riots, then sure. We've already discussed how idiotic that petition is.
Doing that will just cause more riots.
Charging these people with criminal offences is likely to cause more riots, but we're still gonna do it.

If GTA is the reason behind these riots, then I wonder what he considers as the reason behind some older, much more violent riots in the UK.
Charging these people with criminal offences is likely to cause more riots, but we're still gonna do it.
Taking away their benefits won't solve the problem, it'll just leave them with nothing and make them more likely to steal.
we've got cars and used to drive round staines (home of ali g) and shoot paintballs at people, time to take it up a notch :D but yeah no sign of trouble here yet although kingstons getting hit tonight apparently and thats only a few miles from me
Or make some homemade bombs to scare them off. Like sparkler bombs.
Charging these people with criminal offences is likely to cause more riots, but we're still gonna do it.
No, it's more the fact removing what little income some of these people have will just disillusion them more, and basically put them in a position where rioting is a win/win situation - either the government listens to them and pays them jobseekers again, or they go to prison and get free food and shelter.
I hope there's nothing going down in Nottingham again. We didn't get much last night, but this place is shitty enough as it is.

the type of people rioting
The type of people who really, really, want be 'gangsters' but don't have the balls so just dress up in hoods and graffiti in places, get drunk and shout a lot?
On topic,
does anyone know if there will be more rioting tonight, and where? It sounds to me like the rioters won't do shit tonight.
Or make some homemade bombs to scare them off. Like sparkler bombs.
Shoot fireworks at them.
Citizen guard.
Do it.

My point is that no matter what you do they're likely to claim that it's "KEEPIN' THE LITTLE MAN DOWN WITH POLICE OPPRESSION" and riot, making the argument that it'll cause them to riot completely moot.

They've already started in West Bromwich according to the BBC.
EDIT: Oh, and it's started in Manchester as well.

Charging them keeps them out of the way, taking away their benefits will just piss them off and make it more likely to have another incident like this.

Oh boy.
I hope the police get it early, before they spread...
