It's the same old drivel. Just hot air and frustration over their own poor life choices.
Nah they're rioting for a free HDTV.
Well so far it seems the only shot was fired by the police, and not the 'supposed' gunman. Since his death was the supposed cause of all this (but not quite really), it might give people more excuse to go and loot shit.
What evidence besides the bullet is there that it was a police officer that fired?

Exactly.
They want riches, but they haven't made the right decisions to get them.
Therefore, frustrated that their debauchery has gotten them nowhere, they turn to looting.
This is nothing new.
What evidence besides the bullet is there that it was a police officer that fired?
The gun the police found at the scene hadn't been fired and, as said before, the bullet was 'consistant' with being fired from a police gun.
This is spreading really fast what the fuck are police doing holy shit adrenaline
I've missed what's happened since last night. What was the concencus from the COBRA meeting?
blablabla robust policing blablablablablablablablablablablabla
all fucking day seriously
1752: BBC reporters in Salford say looters are breaking into Bargain Booze and the Money Sho on Hankinson Way. A BBC cameraman has been assaulted.
there seems to be people worrying about this hitting their random rural town in the middle of nowhere. the riots dont seem to have spread out of london although most of the bigger towns around me (live in the suburbs of london) are getting more police on the street to prevent any large group meetings etc
This is really worrying, it's like people are seeing others get away with it in the media and are deciding to do it where they are too. I wouldn't be surprised if the military were eventually called on. I can't see this going away overnight.
Riots are now closer to my town than the Libyan rebels are to Tripoli! Serious business!
I wonder if this goes on for around a week. Will terrorists and anarchists attack government buildings?
The Gadget Show let us all go home 2 hours early to avoid the shitstorm in Birmingham.
Is it true the cops are using plastic bullets now? Aim for the eyes lads.

I obviously hope it does, but i doubt it too.
Hillariously though, these rebels have no real goal. It's not like they are well organized or anything, if dealt with firm handedly the riots will probably subside.

Can I ask why you have such strong views about it as, as far as I can see, you are not from the country in which the riots are happening?
I just read that Mark Duggan did not fire at the cops first, confirmed by Independent Police Complaints Commission.
Yeah but you have Robin Hood. He will keep you safe.
Robin Hood? Steal from the rich and give to the poor? He's probably in there with them.

I went for a walk and expected to see gangsters on every street corner.
The streets were actually deserted. :v:
