I heard this too. He says he sees apprximately 2000 near Piccadilly train Station in Manchester.
That's probably a bit of an overestimate.
I heard this too. He says he sees apprximately 2000 near Piccadilly train Station in Manchester.
Wow, I hope that is an over estimation.
Wow, I hope that is an over estimation.
As do I.
And somehow, people are still hiding behind the reason of that guy being shot, while looting a store for a new TV. Great job, you are really making a statement against the corrupt police. :downs:
I am surprised that no TV crew has gotten there yet.
It's not confirmed, but apparently there are a shit ton of EDL people in Manchester "protesting".
Wouldn't it be fun going vigilante on the rioters with a super soaker filled with pepper spray?
I am surprised that no TV crew has gotten there yet.
He did say that the police are present and they're trying to sort the situation. Maybe they won't let the crews through because it's dangerous?
other than the guy that died, the worst part about these riots is that it gives Americans to say "lol British people are so stupid lol riots would never happen here XD"
Because we didn't have the Rodney King riots or anything. Apparently the US has told it's citizens to stay away from the UK and has issued a travel advisory. This is going to do great to say this is the city that is hosting the Olympics for the world in a years time.
What is that on the roof of the white car?
Be pretty unlucky if that's the Google Streeview car.
I don't get what the people who want the riots to continue are trying to achieve?
Found it http://london.usembassy.gov/acs-news/acsnews010.html I don't mean to be rude, but are Americans that dumb they need to be told this: "Do not challenge debate or make unwise comments. This will only increase your chance of becoming a victim of violence;"
OP updated.

I've heard calls for bbm and other social media to be turned off. Unless they want to cause more riots it is a terrible idea.
I've heard calls for bbm and other social media to be turned off. Unless they want to cause more riots it is a terrible idea.
Hey I know let's firewall out facebook and twitter that'll end well for everyone that's trying to work out where they should avoid
Shit always kicks off when theres a tory in power.
Hey I know let's firewall out facebook and twitter that'll end well for everyone that's trying to work out where they should avoid
I can see how the politicians who have no idea how these things work would think that's a good idea, all they've heard about it is that it gives looters easy access to communication with each other and that it spreads rumours around the general public. I don't think they fully understand how many people actually use these services though.
Shit always kicks off when theres a tory in power.
There's always major riots :v:
