The before and after pictures are quite sad and Police have confirmed that a non-police gun was found at the scene and a bullet was lodged in the officer's radio, but are refusing to comment on whether or not the bullet was police issued
I agree but Imagine what these riots would be like if guns where legal.
Oh Christ here we go again. Responsible gun owners who had permits for their weapons would not participate in a riot and use their weapons.
Sky news seems to be the original source, which means they probably overheard someone say it on the street.
Or they heard someone say "I heard the bullet that hit the cop was coated in copper," and thought it was slang for police property. From what I hear about Sky it sounds dumb enough. [editline]8th August 2011[/editline]
Oh Christ here we go again. The police do occasionally set themselves on fire before charging at crowds, just to stir things up a bit and shit them up.

Reported Hooded individuals are robbing Subway of their sandwiches, rioting is a hungry business...
If anyone wants to know, riots hit canning town and then east ham about a half hour ago Pretty weird seeing loads of people running past with arms full of electronics
Shits going down in Hackney now...
I live in Lewisham, i can see several plumes of smoke and a car on firee
Friend is saying there's rioting in Harleden. Hopefully this rioting doesn't come to Shepherds Bush.
Reported Hooded individuals are robbing Subway of their sandwiches, rioting is a hungry business...
I heard somewhere they broke into a McDonalds just to have some cheeseburgers.
It survives a world war, but couldn't survive a a night of rioting. :(
They had Allied Carpets in a World War?
They had Allied Carpets in a World War?
Of course.
Miss what?
This stupid symbol represents sarcasm for some reason.
They had Allied Carpets in a World War?
...pretty sure he meant the whole building, not the shop. If a shop closes down, the whole building doesn't get instantly destroyed. If you were making a joke, very funny.
They had Allied Carpets in a World War?
Obviously where do you think the name came from Their main rivals were Axis Carpets but they went out of business
This stupid symbol represents sarcasm for some reason.
www.sarcmark.com/
Nick Clegg has rejected allegations that the PM is showing 'lack of control and leadership'
As said by others, let's stop calling them protestors, they're criminals. This isn't a protest, this is looting.
Nick Clegg has rejected allegations that the PM is showing 'lack of control and leadership'
Isn't that bastard on holiday? So is Boris Johnson?
As said by others, let's stop calling them protestors, they're criminals. This isn't a protest, this is looting.
Yeah. At first the riot was justified(If you even can). Now they're just looting for free stuff.
Yeah. At first the riot was justified(If you even can). Now they're just looting for free stuff.
The first riot wasn't, the apparent peaceful vigil was justified. [editline]8th August 2011[/editline] BBC has a live page up by the way, with live streams. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14449675 Someone on at the moment is asking why water canons aren't used in London, I completely agree with them.
In America if this shit happened it'd be under control in 10 minutes because American riot police deploys tear gas and snipers for jaywalking and littering
So is Boris Johnson?
Probably, but he's a fucking joke anyway. I apologise profusely to the person below, I am a big meanie and should be shot by a police marksman for being such a nasty person.
respectively person above should feel bad for breaking my automerge and making my joke not funny anymore.
The BBC and Sky helicopters are in a position to show exactly what is going on. Sky just showed a group of people setting a car on fire and failing horribly before someone came along with a bin of petrol. [editline]8th August 2011[/editline] The person on the BBC is saying that today's stuff has been sparked because of a stop and search. :\
I can see smoke from finsbury park in the Lewisham direction, does anyone know which way the riots are moving? i have a cricket bat and will defend my house from fucking looters if i have to.
