Northern Irish here, I doubt it will but I'll inform if it spreads across the irish sea.

Finally someone who understands it, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-14459127
This just is not how its done in the UK.
According to a friend of mine several buildings are on fire in Gloucester.
Well I'm having fun listening to pete price get angry at people on the radio.
by a rubber bullet
That would kill you, or at least seriously injure you.
That would kill you, or at least seriously injure you.
You not seen Jackass? They use them there. It's standard for a lot of police to get out rubber rounds when things get tough - I think that's more likely in america though
0131: There have been reports of a series of loud explosions at a diesel depot near Tottenham High Road, in North London. The fire, police and ambulance services are all at the scene, between Ashley Road and Park View Road. The police have been telling residents they are assessing the situation, to decide whether they will need to start evacuating houses nearby.
Officially confirmed - BBC

Really? Guess it's possible, but never really considered it - but some of the scum involved her sure as hell wont be missed much if a rubber bullet gets lucky
There was a building on fire in whitechapel but 3 fire engines have put it out.

Yes. The American police use BB-gun FPS range firearms. Riot police and CO19 use real 1000 FPS guns

Unfortunately the press would suddenly turn against the police.

It seems to be the distance and the size of the round. According to Wikipedia they changed what they use a few years ago.

I know right, it's just the way this fucking country is. Everything has be be correct in every single way possible, and the second the authorities do something slightly different everyone goes apeshit. If the police treated the rioters the same way the rioters were treating them, it could easily make a far better outcome, but yeah, the media would have a heart attack
0142: Merseyside Police say there have been 35 arrests so far related to disorder in Liverpool and the Wirral.
Two fire engines and a fire officer's car have been damaged by youths in Lawrence Road, in south Liverpool. The officers were dealing with a number of burning cars at the time.

Two words. Daily Mail.

Ah right, that's fair enough then

This is really getting silly now, attacking the police is one thing, but the fire brigade are just trying to stop the city burning down, attacking them is just sick.

People are so fucking stupid. Fine the police are there trying to keep order so getting attacked is pretty much in their job description, but no one should ever attack the fire brigade.
It just really risks peoples lives.

It happens all the time in my hometown, Chavs do it because it's "fukin' funy" that's why we have a police officer to go with the fire brigade on most calls.
how many people have been injured so far?
how many people have been injured so far?
I don't think there is a solid figure because most people freak out and run home.
