Source 2009 is superior, since it didn't break lots of features from the original source 2007 engine version, that would probably break gmod too.

The people referring to L4D related stuff : No, this is the TF2 engine, the L4D engine is different and the models of L4D still wont work.

umm, you speak for your self there buddy. Macs AREN'T "better." I've been using a Mac for two years now and I have not one regret or complaint, but that is due merely to my personal taste in what I'm looking for in a computer experience. Trust me I've been waiting a while for this to happen, I've missed Gmod a lot since I lost my windows pc, and soon I won't need one.
