I want L4D Engine update. T_T
I thought the title said engie update.
1st post didn't already say that.
I want L4D Engine update. T_T
Source 2009 is superior, since it didn't break lots of features from the original source 2007 engine version, that would probably break gmod too.
It was quite obvious it wasn't an engie update. I mean there's a giant blue "GMOD" box to the side of it.
It was quite obvious it wasn't an engie update. I mean there's a giant blue "GMOD" box to the side of it.
I read it as Engie first, but then saw the blue GMOD to the side and thought "what the hell", then I reread it :v:
And with that garry will leave us all wondering what this new feature is.
If this was a joke, then it was pretty odd and out of place, and if not, then Icemaz didn't read carefully enough.
Why is he releasing for the Mac? Why is anyone releasing for the Mac to begin with?
If this was a joke, then it was pretty odd and out of place, and if not, then Icemaz didn't read carefully enough.
How so, and stop posting on the articles I post on gmod.com criticising it wihtout saying how to improve.
Thought it said Engie Update FAQ I didn't leave disappointed however [editline]06:51PM[/editline]
Why is he releasing for the Mac? Why is anyone releasing for the Mac to begin with?
Because there are people on Mac who would enjoy playing games like this too?
Maybe multicore rendering.
Hm
Why is he releasing for the Mac? Why is anyone releasing for the Mac to begin with?
Oh no how dare they try and reach a large market segment to make more money!
Things are gonna break, AGAIN.... Great..... Thanks....

The people referring to L4D related stuff : No, this is the TF2 engine, the L4D engine is different and the models of L4D still wont work.
dont bother breenging garry mode to mac WE DONT WANT IT.
Everyone has read it as the Engie update :v:
I read it as Engine, then Engie. :saddowns:
Engine Update, Engineer update. Either one of them are something to be anticipated for.
Well unlike the rest of you fools, I saw this: and knew this was from garrysmod.com, not a Steam announcement.
Some people saw this on the front page of FP which does not show the thread icon.
Multicore rendering? Lua isn’t threaded – GMod can’t use it! I don’t get why people keep telling me this. It’s bullshit. The majority of the Source Engine isn’t threaded either. The rendering is. I don’t really understand the people that contact me thinking that having multicore rendering in GMod will make it run 4 times faster. It won’t. In 99% of situations it’s your graphics card that is making GMod slow – not your CPU.
Please make it happen! It could improve peformance.
Dynamic water? I wish :saddowns:
Can be done with Source 2007. [editline]09:19PM[/editline] [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXobd5aNC88[/hd]
That's just particles.
Read it as Engine Update, hoped it was a typo :( lol
That's just particles.
:ssh:
"In 99% of situations it’s your graphics card that is making GMod slow – not your CPU." Bullshit. Gmod can only use one of my four cores. I've tested strenuously, the only lag I ever get is from cpu bottleneck via source.
mac fac
dont bother breenging garry mode to mac WE DONT WANT IT.
umm, you speak for your self there buddy. Macs AREN'T "better." I've been using a Mac for two years now and I have not one regret or complaint, but that is due merely to my personal taste in what I'm looking for in a computer experience. Trust me I've been waiting a while for this to happen, I've missed Gmod a lot since I lost my windows pc, and soon I won't need one.
