I dunno man I'd rather get robbed of whatever I had on me than have two, probably down and out robbers be murdered. [editline]25th August 2012[/editline] Isn't it a better case for having insurance rather than a gun to kill your robbers with? Justice is them getting caught and going to prison for their robbery. Not shooting at them and potentially killing them.
-insurance costs money -no guarantee they will be caught
Somehow I can't feel bad for robbers who get some lead under their skin. It's all part of the career choice that they have made. All careers have their own downsides. In this case they are possibly getting shot, punched, stabbed etc... You chose it, so don't whine about getting shot and shit. If someone tries to forcefully come to my home, steal my shit and scare my cat, that guy is also jumping aboard the pain train and WILL get to taste the business end of my meat tenderizing hammer, baseball bat, baton or whatever that happens to be within reach. If he happens to end up retarded, dead, paralyzed or whatever, that's his problem, I will happily go to court and pay myself out or sit myself out of the situation, but he will still be dead, paralyzed, retarded or whatever. Choose your careers wisely and stop whining if you get shot, because of your fucked up choices.
Don't take this the wrong way, but I feel that criminals bring out the worse in us. EDIT: To add to what the other guy was saying ("I'd rather be robbed than kill two people"), what I took from that is that I'd try to avoid shooting 'lest it's absolutely necessary. Small scale theft is not a capital crime, and I'd rather give them a chance to learn from the greatest mistake of their life.
