I live in conservative Oregon. I can say, the people aren't that bad, I go to a Christian college and they're actually really liberal compared to most of the conservatives I read about on the internet. The only thing that stands out to me about the town I live in is that most of the parents are complete and utter shit. That would explain the suicides. Edit: One thing I will say, most of the teachers in the town I live in are ultra-liberal. Like, so liberal by American standards they'd be considered liberal by Europeans. So that says good things about our future.
